[8.0] "Probably the best singles match Randy Orton had at that stage of his career. The first part of the match had a lot of heavy teases of Mick Foley arriving which doesn't end up happening, but it's very physical with Randy busted up very early on. The rest of the match is just a really good back and forth match and the fans chants for Foley started to die down as they are clearly more invested in the match at that point. Orton using the body scissors to slow RVD down while he was bloodied up looked good and intense. RVD was really inventive with his kicks where he had a lot of unique counters. The ref bump lead to nothing but was a good tease for a Foley interruption, which didn't happen. The finish with the top rope DDT looked impressive. Very good match with some great character work from Orton, who was looking more and more like a star every week."
[7.0] "Before the 1st break, this was alright, with the most notable thing being Orton getting busted wide open. After we come back from the back though, Orton is really aggressive with his heel work in response to getting cut open, so we got one hell of a heat segment from him due to this. Rvd's comebacks had a great fire, and seeing Orton win with an inverted DDT was weird but it does look like a killer move, this was a very good TV match. ***1/2"
