[6.0] "Where does this fall in the oeuvre of Ultimate X matches? TNA sure loves its convoluted match types, and Ultimate X is probably, well, the ultimate. Sabin impresses in this match for sure, I don't know what to say for Bentley, who I don't think was quite on the level of him and Williams. He does take his fair share of bumps in this one. The X falling twice hamstrings the match unfortunately. The match wasn't a 9 or 10 level before this, probably more like a 7, and I don't think it was on the road to being an all timer before this. It makes me curious how the rematch for this went though."

[8.0] "The first half of this match was a solid 9-10, with tons of great spots and no clear favorite to win. Right around the spot with Sabin hanging from the ropes, the match really started to slow down, and the X falling didn't really help - it sat a bit dead in the water until the very end, at which point the X falling again really left a bad taste in my mouth. I won't take off another point for the ending because it isn't like Petey was super far from winning, but it definitely keeps the match from being rated any higher."
