[2.0] "Erik Watts honestly had no business being on TV this early in his career - even Bobby Eaton couldn't get something worthwhile out of him. The majority of the match is at least functional, just terribly boring. Watts spends a load of time just standing around looking unsure of himself. Credit to Eaton for doing what he could, but Watts simply wasn't ready for this spot, and definitely was not skilled enough to wrestle a match of this length. What pushed this over the edge into a failing rating for me was the absolutely ridiculous finish, where Watts somehow ends up pinning Michael Hayes to score the victory...? Just complete nonsense, which really stood out compared to the usual Bill Watts booking style of the time. Rubbish."
