Manami Toyota vs. Yumiko Hotta

[9.0] "The striking and overall very hard-hitting and stiff style of Hotta surprised me as it was LETHAL - Manami got her ass kicked so badly here. Overall it was very good finals of JGP, the chemistry was on point and the action was packed. The winner was unexpected as i thought Yumiko would win looking back at her previous lost against Toyota in JGP 1990 finals. ****, 5"

[9.0] "Been a while since I watched this (2 fucking years) but this match was my intro to Manami Toyota and it convinced me that she is the GOAT of women's wrestling. When she hit a running jump off the top rope, I was speechless."

"Awesome match. Yumiko Hotta is an all-time ass kicker and absolutely demolished Toyota with unbelievably nasty suplexes, head drops, and striking. Manami Toyota responds by nearly destroying herself to get to Hotta and gets owned in the process. Toyota has a weird element to her where she barely reacts to nearly dying multiple times throughout the match, which is incredibly impressive as a performer but leaves the character feeling like a videogame avatar whose healthbar is yet to be depleted. Thus, the impetus is on the much more human Hotta to destroy this android psycho. She doesn't succeed, but man, do you BELIEVE she can, and the finish is a REALLY nice little tricky variation of the ocean cyclone suplex after it failed to get the 3 earlier in the match."

[9.0] "Good Joshi match and yet another showcase of Toyota's greatness. The action was mad and concentrated as you can axpect; this bout was right in the way to become something really to remember but TOYOTA hit a second Japanese Ocean Cyclon Suplex at the pick of the drama. Anyway raccomanded. ****1/2"

[7.0] "Pretty cool, a bit sloppy at times which sometimes weirdly made it better and sometimes not. Hotta got to dominate a good amount then lost to a flash pin which I can see not working for some but I'm fine on it. ***3/4"

[7.0] "It was ok. Moments of Hotta's domination is best part of this match, Toyota, as usually, bad. And of course, ending was awful, finish tournament by roll is not very good idea, but through the efforts of Yumiko Hotta match came out good. ***1/2"

[10.0] "Fantastic match, I am not too familiar with Hotta but she has impressed me tremendously the few times I've seen here. Toyota is, of course, one of the greatest of all time. Lovely match."
