Drew Parker vs. Masashi Takeda

Nice usage of the lightbulbs and some sick spots too, I literally jumped when Takeda put Parker through that Barbed Wire-Lightbulb-Table or whatever that construction was, since I didnt notice that they put that thing up, there were also some nice sequences of actual wrestling sprinkled throughout, good stuff."

[9.0] "An awesome deathmatch. Crazy ass spots but contains actual wrestling also. Towards the end I thought Takeda dropped Parker flat on his head. I should check out this Drew Parker guy more if he's usually this good. Don't know Japanese but got the gist of the post-match promo."

[9.0] "Strong performance as usual from Takeda, but it was one of the first Drew matches I've seen and he impressed me a lot. I always love when deathmatches contain crazy spots with light tubes, so the spot with slamming Masashi on the tower of tubes was incredible. Great ending too. ****1/2"

[7.0] "A very good match for the GCW Ultraviolent title match here. Parker losing it to Takeda before his return to the US was logical. Some very good spots during this match, a great using of the lighttubes and both men did an interesting performance. ***1/2"

[8.0] "4 Stars - Solid match but wasnt a blow away that i was expecting. Plenty of violence to fill your fix tho and effort was there but i have feeling with how good these 2 are, theres a better match to come"

[9.0] "Great deathmatch, with a lot of violent spots. Drew Parker is without a doubt the future of deathmatch wrestling, in this match he is just so good in every aspect of this style, from the actual wrestling with some great high-flying to creativity with the darts, while bumping like a mad-man and diving from near the top of Shin-Kiba (easily the spot of the match). Takeda is pretty much as good as always, I'm used to great deathmatches with him and this one wasn't an exception. The title change is pretty surprising, but knowing that Takeda will be in the NGI soon it's a good choice imo. ****1/2"
