[6.0] "very generic Roman v Brock match, nothing i really cared to see again tbh prob one of the weaker matches, the heyman bit was fun enough i guess"
[4.0] "Meh. Just another Roman match from this era with all the hallmarks we've seen although this time he has a cool over the top rope dive to the outside. I watched this a few hours ago and other than the finish I can't remember anything about this match except the dive. No surprise their next match had a stipulation, it certainly needed one here."
[0.0] "This feud was exhausted long before this match and certainly after. It was a forced "epic rivalry" instead of something naturally occurring like Rock and Austin. There's nothing in this match that we haven't seen from these two before so while it's not full of botches, I wasn't entertained by one second of this."
[5.0] "This is honestly their naturally best match together, I liked that impressive dive from Roman Reigns. Brock Lesnar did his own thing but not bad though. One thing that took away is the ref bump, interference ended with bell shot. However, the way Heyman teased on Reigns and Lesnar with the belt is kinda intriguing me. [**1/2]"
[8.0] "Wow. First time watch since I really wasnt watching WWE much and especially the Saudi shows from 2019-2022. Wow man. This being the first time with the dynamics switched clearly made the difference here and gave us such a fresh version of the Roman and Brock match, which was far more even this go around then Roman being the babyface, which only really worked the first time. Really good finish too even if dirty. Wish it was longer"
[6.0] "A short match with a high pace at the beginning and incredible intrigue at the end. The pace dropped in the middle of the fight, but this problem was compensated by the intensity of passion and good acting of Paul Heyman"
[3.0] "t definitely doesn't deserve a rating of 6, it's just a weak fight, of course it can't be lower than 3, I'll give it 3 because unfortunately the fight wasn't pleasant for me, I even watched it twice and I didn't find "that something" there, so unfortunately it didn't work out well"
[7.0] "It's a really solid match, definitely one of the better ones between them and the heel face roles swapped and the stuff with Paul Heyman added a bit of tension."
[3.0] "This was the most boring Roman/Brock match possible. It started well with Roman putting Lesnar over as one of the few people he's fought who might actually be a threat to his title. I liked how he urgently grabbed the ropes to prevent the suplexes. Of course a few minutes later all the big moves start happening and it's your usual formula since 2018. Superman Punch, German, Spear, F5 and you know the routine. Neither guy does anything you haven't seen them do a million other times over the last 10 years but this time there's not the first time factor like their WM classic. Of course they were backed into the corner and had to do a screwy finish to protect Lesnar for a rematch. Heyman being conflicted was the best part of this ordeal. The Uso's get shoved in like the Bucks in an Omega defense and the second referee shows up at the most convenient time. **"
"After watching their 2018 matches back to back this was really refreshing. Brock selling his effort and work a lot more, a lot less constant action and finishers. I still feel these two need to do some more actual wrestling when they meet and still doesn't meet the hype the top billing deserves, but it builds into their 2022 matches. Adequate."
[4.0] "Except the Roman dive, it was quite a nothing match. The ref bump is clearly a cheap finish but they continue the shady heyman narrative so I give it a pass"
[5.0] "Reigns counters the suplex attempts by Lesnar but Lesnar still manages to do them. Reigns hits a spear but Lesnar kicks out. Reigns on the other hand kicks out of the F5. The referee gets taken out and there's some shenanigans."
[8.0] "A pretty great main event, I thought. They built to the climax nicely, and the late big false finishes at the end constantly kept you guessing what would happen. I don't mind the Paul Heyman bits as much as others, worked fine under the story they are telling and kept Brock relatively protected. [***3/4]"
[6.0] "I'm starting to think that Reigns and Lesnar got lucky when they struck gold and put on one of the best matches in company history at Wrestlemania 31. Paul Heyman being in Reigns' corner should have given this pairing a fresh dynamic to work with. The screwy finish with the tug of war with the belt and the Usos interference didn't do much for me and Lesnar shouldn't be losing his first match back. This was worked more like a traditional match instead of signature move spamfest like their trilogy of matches were back in 2018. There are things I liked about this though. Lesnar had a lot of crazy facials and I love seeing him hit a picture-perfect leapfrog as a counter to a spear. This was decent overall, but I expected better than decent when watching a big-money match between two of WWE's best workers of the past decade."
[8.0] "a shock having benefited from a solid build up. I was very curious about what Paul Heyman would do. to come back to the fight, it was very good."
[5.0] "I'm a bit disappointing by this match to be honest, but I know this is gonna lead to a rematch and I think it will be far better than this one. This match showcased Lesnar a lot for his return, he did an interesting work and dominated Reigns a lot. The ending was not good to me but I understand it, even if it's a very flat way to end a pay per view. **1/2"
[5.0] "It was fine, loved that Paul Heyman is constantly stuck in the middle of Reigns and Lesnar. Some cool spears and F-5? s, and I? m not even mad at the finish since it sets up other matches down the road"
[4.0] "Yeah it was cool seeing Brock back, but roman did absolutely nothing of note outside of the one dive. A 12 minute finisher fest with another fuck finish. Incredibly disappointing"
[4.0] "As usual with Brock Lesnar & Roman Reigns together post-WM31, they delivered a solid little popcorn match, but it all felt pretty hollow. Some cool moments sure, but nothing I will remember."
[6.0] "Acts as a setup for something (hopefully) greater down the line but this was easily their best effort since WM 31. Solid 11 minute bombfest, and both these guys mesh incredibly well in that style of match (2018 trilogy wasn't their fault), but this one has a whole new dynamic when compared to their previous matches now with the role reversal. Babyface Brock rules, and added a lot to the heel Roman Reigns match style in that he'd never allow him to work on top. Reigns really put Bork over as a legitimate threat, selling the fear of the suplexes by repeatedly grabbing the ropes, and doing things out of his comfort zone like a God damn top rope dive. The Heyman Drama unfortunately amounted to an abrupt ass finish to a match that was on its way to greatness but all is forgiven if they can get it right next time. Good shit."
[6.0] "Decent match. I have seen better from these two. Not much happened other than the ongoing indecisiveness of Heyman with regards to supporting Brock or Roman. Expected more. ***"
[6.0] "Roman Reigns & Brock Lesnar have honed their chemistry over the years, and this was another great heavyweight spectacle from these two. They have a big match presence like few others in WWE have ever had - making them a natural main event for a show of this scale. Match Rating: 3/5 (***)"
[4.0] "There are ref bumps and then there's, 'throw this whole match away' ref bumps. It was so dumb, so contrived, why on earth would he position himself there? Aside from that, the Brock Lesnar babyface act wasn't too polished."
[8.0] "Great match, but honestly I expected more. However, this should be the first of this feud, so its perfectly fine. Way better than their other encounters, that's for sure."
[8.0] "In fact, everything that was done turned out to be the right step to preserve Roman's champion status. The end of the fight suggests that we will see not only revenge, but also Brock's victory with the return of Paul under his wing. In the meantime, Lesnar returns to the ranch before the Royal Rumble."
[7.0] "I don't understand the logic of rating a completely decent match with a great angle a 1 or a 0 , it beggers belief , it was a great match for setting up a much superior match down the road to Wrestlemania , it wasn't an all time classic by any means , but the psychology made sense , the action was good , Lesnar looked like a threat , these people that rate this match THAT low are the very same that enjoy watching the completely overrated Sazuki vs Danielson " you hit me i hit you " zero psychology bullshit."
[7.0] "This wasn't as amazing as the build was, but I think it was merely meant as a tease of what's to come in the future. The start was the best part, with Roman trying everything to avoid the German Suplexes. Roman's dive over the top was beautifully done. After that it got a bit formulaic with the typical finisher spam. Brock's leap frog over Reigns was awesome though. Then we get to the ref bump and the overbooking, which was lame and anticlimactic. Another thing I liked was Paul's indifference to it all. Very interesting story beat that wasn't really visible for most of the match. I enjoyed it for the spectacle, but I understand why it isn't for everyone. [***1/4]"
[9.0] "Great match, didn't like the ending from the ref getting knocked out to the Usos interfering was something that we saw before again and again , WWE could have done the ending was better"
[7.0] "Every Roman match ends with a dirty finish in this reign, and that's just about the only bad thing here, so I don't see the hate. These two are a coinflip when it comes to chemistry, they either beat the piss out of each other in a fun match or have a borefest, but tonight was the former. They had no filler without doing all their signatures, we saw the return of Roman's big fucking leap over the top and Brock's ridiculous leapfrog height to counter a spear. I honestly thought the build to this was very good compared to all other writing in WWE right now, so the uncertainty of who Heyman was talking to when he slid the belt into the ring and the shot of them fighting over it was actually a great way to build to the finish, even if beating Brock off a couple superkicks and a belt shot is a bit anti-climactic. 2nd best match on the show behind Big E vs Big D. ***1/2"
[9.0] "For me it was all done well, the feud will go on, interesting match and interesting characters, I don't know how you can give 1 to this match! Don't like it? ok, but to give 1 is to be ignorant on the subject. Anyway, I really enjoyed it, now I'm waiting for the next match between them."
[10.0] "Best match these two have had together since Mania 31. Some truly fantastic spots and callbacks for Brocks best moments, including the ref pickup and hop. The finish was a bit fucky but certainly not enough for me to dislike the match. Honestly, some of the low ratings on here truly love to exaggerate but not shocked considering to many cagematch users, the only scores that exist are 10s or 1s."
[3.0] "Such a disappointing ass match. The start of it was very promising with Roman doing all he could to avoid Brocks suplexes and trying to one up him with that dive to the outside and the spear, but then it devolved to your average finisher-spam spotfest between them before ending as disappointing as it did with the 87th Usos involvement. AND IT WAS SO SHORT WTF....at least build to this kinda stuff. Had such high hopes for this, but WWEs gonna WWE."
[8.0] "that was a great match, i don't know why people start to give low ratings.the match was great and fans into it.lesnar just look like goro from mortal kombat.the finish protect lesnar and future match."
[2.0] "Just no, it was a spotfest. Lesnar is getting worse and worse, and Reigns skills are just awful. I really liked the show but this gave me the , , meh" ending."
[1.0] "The worst match from these two. They started methodically and seemed to get acquainted with new sides of each other, but in the end it all came down to their favorite formula with the devaluation of all big moves, and the most nauseating overbooking of Roman Reigns' name, when God first helps him in a match with Balor, and then Lesnar himself, throwing Roman at the referee and poisoning my brain with Adam Cole flashbacks. This match is worthless, and the transformation of these two has absolutely no effect on the story inside the ring and on their characters in general. The terribly overrated title reign continues (1/2*)."
[4.0] "It felt like a big match of course but that was nothing imo. It was a typical Reigns vs Lesnar Match with 4 finishers and just big moves. I have seen too much of them to even see a difference. The finish was really awful to protect Lesnar and build up a rematch I guess okay? (** 1/2)"
[9.0] "I can't put 10/10 because of the flat end. But damn it was awesome. Of course we expected overbooking, but that didn't bother me. I was in full swing and after the traditional wrestling matches, this one made the transition perfectly. Very good main event"
[2.0] "It started cool and had a good brawl between both wrestler, but as the match went on, it only got more stupid. The finish was simply terrible and non-sense, it only served the purpose of Paul Heyman being "neutral". Also, why would Brock Lesnar throw Roman Reigns into the referee and try the pinfall? It doesn't make any sense at all! Ah well, I'm not even surprised. **"
[7.0] "Finish was meant to protect Brock, which it did. However, the overusage of finishers took me out of it. Some great athleticism from both men though."
[6.0] "BIG MOVEZ. OVERBOOKING AHOY! A very smoke and mirrors match, don't think Brock Lesnar had all that much to be honest. The finish definitely protected Brock, who got a visual pinfall. Great matches on this show, this wasn't quite one of them."
