KENTA rolling in and out of the ring while taunting Tanga Loa made me genuinely laugh, especially when he rolled into Jado. And the actual wrestling was certainly solid. KENTA continues to be one of the stars of G1 Climax 31, with performances that toe the line between the legend we know and the Bullet Club affiliation that taints the waters. Tanga Loa, meanwhile, is becoming more comfortable in the singles realm with every passing match. Loa really needs to work on his strikes, but his grapples are pretty damn entertaining. That helped build to Loa taunting KENTA and bringing out the beast we all want to see thrive in New Japan Pro Wrestling. And while the Bullet Club antics returned, it was entertaining with the Eddie Guerrero bit. 3 stars, 6 out of 10. Satisfactory match. |

Tanga continues to be great in this G1, with lots of extremely athletic moves, while KENTA is masterful at telling stories in the ring and with his mannerisms. I definitely recommend. |
