7 | 24.03.2024 | Ofir | 9.0 | A great rematch after their all-time classic first match, Yamamoto is slowly catching up to Volk but Volk is still too much for him, his crazy submissions are just too much but Yamamoto is still fighting through. After an arm injury Yamamoto was so close to winning but just missed it, a great chapter in their rivalry and a great showing for both men. |
8 | 21.01.2024 | Lakhiarfarhad91 | 8.0 | This was a great match. The submission work was superb and Yamamoto threw some brutal strikes. He held pretty well on the mat with Volk but had to bring up his striking to equalize the position in this match. Volk hit a brutal arm trapped suplex and Yamamoto landed on his head. I loved how Volk tanked those punches to the abdomen and finished off Yamamoto with the full Nelson hold. 8.00 |
9 | 19.02.2022 | CFOS | 7.0 | Rings Rising Series IV: Minazuki : Volk Han is so crazy with those submissions, he targeted the legs of Yamamoto but then i think he nearly broke the left arm of Yamamoto after throwing him while being in a arm lock so he targeted the arm. Yamamoto had some good moment like when he had the upper hand and when he put down Volk with his strikes. It wasn't the craziest match of RINGS but Volk Han prove again that he is just too good for this world. (***1/2) |
10 | 14.10.2021 | SZ1989 | 9.0 | Volk Han comes out swinging here, immediately looking to lock Yamamoto in a big submission hold, but Yamamoto just finds a way to escape each time. Yamamoto matches Volk Han's intensity and gets him on the mat a few times, but Volk Han's comfort on the mat is just a level above Yamamoto at the moment. Interesting counterwork from Yamamoto makes a few flash submission attempts believable, and adds some drama to the match. Yamamoto's continued improvement is very evident here. Yamamoto gets Volk Han down with a flurry of strikes, but Han gets back up and manages to draw Yamamoto back to the mat. Yamamoto tries to get back to his striking game but Volk Han keeps him grounded for the rest of the match. Volk Han does have to use a few of his escapes here but manages to get Yamamoto locked in for the submission win. Hot crowd and lots of drama. Great match. ****1/2 |
