ASUKA & Yuki Kamifuku vs. Marika Kobashi & Nao Kakuta

[5.0] "As others have written, this was a decent profile match for the two tallest competitors on tonight's card. It was fun watching A bully on her less (in almost every way) opponents. Kakuta definitely could have used assistance catching A on the latter's top-rope moonsault to the floor. 2 2/5"

[7.0] "Fine match where the spotlight is in ASUKA and Kamiyu showing their chemistry as a team, also Nao Kakuta shined with his hability and new gear"

[7.0] "A great way to introduce Asuka, she and Kamiyu have the potential to be a great tag team. Everyone worked well for the most part and it turned into a fun tag, but also brutal for Kobashi and Kakuta. They have a better match in them for sure, I just hope Asuka stays around because she could be a huge get for that promotion."

[7.0] "Loved this match. Great competitors all 4 of them are awesome and cool as hell! Nao's new gear was amazing as was Marika's entire look with the darker hair. VENYU's entrance was the best thing on the entire show. Marika continues to show her fire and will breakout in 2022 i can feel it. It was wonderful to see VENY in a TJPW ring and the world always needs more VENY and We need more VENYU! Great little match that i wished had more time."

[7.0] "This was a fantastic tag match. I thought the team of VENY and Kamiyu worked really well, loved their entrance (doubt Cyberfight paid to use Bad Guy and Telephone but if they get away with it, great for them). I? ve only seen VENY a handful of times at Chocopro, AEW Womens tourney and Hana Kimura memorial show and every time I was more and more enamoured with her and believe she? ll become a top star in joshi wrestling. Kamiyu always does her best and this was no different, wouldn? t mind seeing her go for the POP title. The teamwork is good and I think it? ll get even better as time goes on and the team stands out due to them both being tall. Love Marika and sad to see her lose but with VENY and Kamiyu performance, they deserved to win. Haven? t seen much of Nao but she left a good impression, will seek out more of her stuff. Overall, I would recommend this match. 3.5 stars."

[7.0] "This was a really good match, I truly like the team of Yuki Kamifuku and ASUKA and they did some great combinations here. The exchanges between ASUKA and Kobashi were very interesting, Kobashi showed some good fighting spirit and ASUKA is captivating as always. A good finish here too. ***1/2"

[5.0] "Audio aside, I kinda loved the entrance of Kamiyu and ASUKA. I love how their gimmicks are about how comfortable they are flaunting their sexuality. The match didn't amount to much except for establishing VENYU as a dominant duo. The match was booked accordingly, like Kobashi and Kakuta were inferior with the two constantly being on the back foot against the aggressive style of ASUKA and Kamiyu. Nao Kakuta got some shine in the match when paired against Kamiyu and ASUKA stood out a lot with her character work and charisma. This was a solid match that got what it needed to get across. **3/4"

[6.0] "First of all, the entrance by ASUKA and Kamiyu was great, really liked that, both also did some good heelwork throughout the match. On the other hand, the action was just solid imo, there wasn't really anything standing out to me, except Kakuta who always did a good job while being in the ring. There were also some moves at the end that didn't look smooth, but it was still fine."

[5.0] "Felt to me like an extended squash. Asuka was the lead, being a far better wrestler than any of the others. To her credit, Marika was fine and took some bumps to make her opponents looks good."

[7.0] "What a match this was. First off, that was a 5* entrance from VENYU. Then the match itself was an excellent showcase of ASUKA and Marika who got the hell beat out of her. Kamiyu and Nao also got their moments in the spotlight to show their stuff. Can't wait to hopefully see more of VENYU in TJPW."

[7.0] "Good tag match. ASUKA obviously carried it as she is by far the best of the 4 if we talk about workrate, but the other 3 did good performances. ASUKA and Kamiyu worked even better than I thought as a team, which makes me hope that we get another match of these two together. ***1/2"

[6.0] "I don't know if I will ever really see anything in Marika Kobashi. When she was in the ring with ASUKA, the gap between their skills was extremely wide and it made me feel that ASUKA and Kamiyu were being wasted against them. Still this was a good match and had nice spots when Nao Kakuta got into ring instead of Marika. Another fine undercard match 6/10"
