[1.0] "Action itself wasn't the worst of the night, however Russo's tendency to overbook literally EVERYTHING also couldn't miss that bout. Harris Twins and Hogan's interferences killed any possible hype you could get from that."
[2.0] "The in-ring action was passable, could even be considered decent (for TV, not PPV world title match) but nothing special ... then run-ins, ref bumps, ref run-ins, Hogan in 2000 stealing the spotlight off of the actual champion ... fucking hell. The action was fine but the booking was not. If it wasn't for the literal championship of the world, I'd give it a 3 but it is, so higher standards apply ... 2."
[0.0] "Another instance of shitty WCW world title booking. This match could've been good but there is constant interference from the Harris Twins, Slick Johnson, and Hogan. This is garbage."
"The fact that the world heavyweight title match is only seven minutes long and ends with a lot of interference is unbelievable, the seven minutes weren't too bad though it was very back and forth between both Jarrett and Sid and they even brawled a lot outside."
[2.0] "Going from an overbooked mess in Sting vs Luger, you immediately get another overbooked mess in Vicious vs Jarrett that eventually involves Hulk Hogan, who takes out Jarrett and places Vicious on him for the win. Heel commentator Mark Madden shouts "What a glory hog! " and the audience is supposed to disagree as they cheer the Hulkster's interference, but it was a totally accurate assessment of Hogan making everything about himself yet again."
[4.0] "Admittedly I have a much higher tolerance for Jeff Jarrett matches with the overbooking because I literally grew up watching it. So yeah this wasn't great even by that standard. I did like the punches they threw, they were nice. Guitar Shots were awesome as always. Didn't like the Harris Brothers or Hulk getting involved but Scotty Steiner crashing a Guitar into him after the match was great. I've seen worse. Two Stars out of Five."
[0.0] "Just another atrociously terrible match between both men with screwy pin break up after screwy pin break up and all shenanigans made this match an utter mess than it already was from the very start."
[1.0] "This match has one believable near-fall. That is the only thing preventing this from a 0. Sid is no babyface in peril. Hogan's interference was pointless. This was bad."
[0.0] "The most entertaining part about this match was that they said OUTRIGHT ON SCREEN that Sid vs. Jarrett for the World Title had to be bumped because Hogan wanted to main event again. Jarrett promised to strip 3 women naked if he wins, which turned the crowd against Babyface Sid right away. Time wasting and inconsistent refereeing ensue - closed fists aren't okay, but Harris Brothers beatdowns in full view of the referee are fine, apparently. Ref bump for no reason other than Hogan has to come out to make the least babyface-ish save in history. Four straight zeros, and Hogan's match is next. Pray for me."
[2.0] "Some guy tells Sid he has to wrestle next and Hogan gets to main event. I wonder if this will lead to anything? Probably not Sid beats Jarrett into the crowd and the Harris Brothers beat him back into the ring where Jarrett tries a sleeper. Sid fights out and Jarrett ends up going headfirst into the belt, that gets 2 for Sid. Confusion and the match falls apart as Jarrett hits Sid with El Cabong and then Hogan shows up and gives Jarrett the big boot and leg drop then puts Sid on top so he can retain. You expected anything better from this show?"
[0.0] "Ridiculous, awful overbooked mess with the usual interference and ref bumps to interrupt the dull brawling. Sid was never much good, but Jarrett was a genuine talent and possibly one of the most wasted ones in multiple promotions. Worth noting that the ref was fine with continued brawling outside the ring and repeated interference, but gave warnings for a closed fist... laughable."
[0.0] "This match was almost a copy of the previous match before it on the PPV... only there were slightly less run-ins and interference. I can never get over how bad Main Event-level Jeff Jarrett matches are. They are all the same, and all awful."
[0.0] "A horrible match, Sid looks like he couldn't punch his way out of a paper bag but still Jarrett is somehow worse, and overbooking overflows, and of course it barely gets any time, not that we wanted more time for this crap."
