Miro is a monster heel and I felt he didn't hold his title long enough, but it is Tony Khan's toybox and I'm just here to try and enjoy it."

[8.0] "Very good David vs. Goliath kind of match: Miro dominated in the first half of the match and looked like a monster. Sammy had a great comeback and even hit a crazy dive over the top rope. Miro hit his signature kick and started to take off the protections to the turnbuckles and that give Sammy some time to recover, get back in the ring, hit a knee strike, a tornado ddt, the g.t.h. and the 630 senton that got him the win. I'm a Sammy Guevara mark, I'm proud to say it and this was a beautiful moment. Miro had a great reign but Sammy (at the time) was the right man to put an end to it. 8/10 - 4*/5*"

[8.0] "A fabulous main event contest to wrap it up. It followed the tenet of a David vs Goliath storyline. Miro has the strength and power built in physique like a brick house. In contrast, Sammy is the smaller man but faster and athletically superior who looks to change the course of this match using his resiliency, tolerance, and tenacity. He would also look to create enough momentum with his moves in order to take down Miro by damaging his base and taking him off of his footing. It had a vivid presence of hard-hitting intensity and an electric crowd atmosphere. They hit each other with all they had, firing all cylinders. Miro had begun to get frustrated due to his inability to finish Sammy early as he had originally desired. The overconfidence had waned away and he had turned more aggressive. Sammy at this moment showcased his iron will and heart of a warrior, kicking out at almost everything dished out at him by the redeemer. My favorite spots were Sammy leaping over the turnbuckles for a beautiful aerial maneuver and the ending as well. Miro had blown a fuse and tore off all the top rope turnbuckles on all four corners only for Sammy to send him face-first onto the turnbuckles. Sammy had worked the neck before which was his known weak spot. Sammy then connected with a series of moves ending with the 630 senton to ensure the victory and crown himself as the new face of the network. Great stuff, felt relatively simple and rustic but delivered big time, and thats what matters.****"

Sammy's Burning Hammer into Facecrusher finisher always looks terrible. Pretty cool to see Sammy win as he's over and I usually enjoy his matches. But this one didn't click. **1/4"

Both guys pulled out some really impressive moves, and there was some nice story and intelligence both around the background of the feud and Miro's infamous weakness for head attacks. I was surprised the crowd was not hotter but that's how it goes sometimes."

Felt maybe it was a touch premature to put the belt on Sammy, there were times where the crowd didn't seem to be super into it. Though, once he hit his finisher, and got the 3 count, there was a nice reaction from the crowd."

[7.0] "Solid main event between Miro and Guevara to conclude a pretty average episode in terms of action, I wouldn't go as far as to say it was the best match of the night as for me the opener between Adam Cole and Jungle Boy was slightly superior but overall it was just some good shit all around in this TNT Championship match. There's nothing better than competitive matches for this title and in this kind of setting too, the match had a similar write up to the one between Miro and Darby Allin a few months ago but with the good guy winning this time so the happy ending makes the match even better. The action wasn't flamboyant though but it was simple and effective, a sober dynamic with a perfect heel and a perfect face, all with a crowd that played along and was invested from start to finish. All that is simple in wrestling and on top of that, a result that makes you happy, great for Guevara."

He does all the simple stuff, like striking and headlocks, so effectively. Sammy also bumps and sells like a god. I know AEW don't do rematches often but these two need more. Top 5 Dynamite MOTY."

The Fuego del Sol angle that built to this gave it good heat, and the way they built up the neck targeting by Sammy was great, especially Miro's selling which was exceptional as it got across that he was nearly unstoppable if the neck wasn't a problem. It makes the win feel earned and monumental while keeping Miro looking strong for the future. Crowd loved it too, and that always helps face title wins. ***3/4"

And the fact that it happened on Brodie Lee's celebration day makes this moment more valuable than it could ever have been. Kudos to Miro for making Guevara shine. ***3/4."

I feel like it was only a matter of time before someone successfully exploited that weakness and Sammy did in this match. I thought the end sequence was great and really made Miro seem strong in defeat and Sammy looked v smart. which is refreshing for a babyface nowadays"

[9.0] "One of Miro's best matches yet in AEW and Sammy looked great too, both focusing on their strengths but doing well to sell too. Totally unexpected end, even with 30 seconds left I expected Miro to submit Sammy. A very well put together match and an unbelievable result as the 2nd of AEW's 4 pillars wins a title."
