[8.0] "A very good title match, definitely not on the levels reached by their first meeting which was an intense hard-fought battle ending in a time-limit draw. Regardless, this was still a hardcore and grueling brawl, the clubbing lariats, and jarring chops as well as Nomura's kicks to the chest and the head of Nakanoue. I also liked the no-sell sequences towards the climax of the match which showcased the fighting spirit and resiliency of both competitors. The technical wrestling and grappling was also superb and Nomura's submission work was pleasing to watch as well as his concentrated offense on the arm of Nakanoue however that did not prevail as a major aspect of story narrative that was told in the match. It was fiery and had the vivacity that it required. In the end, Nomura strikes Nakanoue with stiff palm strikes across the force and then connects with the dragon suplex to claim a victory. A commendable effort by both men and finally Nomura is BJW Strong world champion. Great stuff here. ****1/4"

[7.0] "Just prior to the beginning of Nakanoue's reign, he was in a series of tag matches against the man he would dethrone for the strong heavy belt, Okabayashi, and came-off as very-much beneath him, the obvious 'B' player. Since then he has matured both in his poise and bearing, and that's what really a lengthy run can-should do for a career mid-carder. A successful reign should make a fan almost feel bad for he who is losing the title even while realizing that it's time for the younger, more promising star to defeat him and start his time on-top. Not the epic that was the Korakuen contest, but a fine back-and-forth of sturdy professional wrestling combat. 3 3/10 rounded-up"

They also had some sick forearm exchanges and their lariats were brutal. However, something was off and I can't really pinpoint what it was, it just kinda prevented the match from being better in my eyes. Still very cool tho."

[8.0] "Nomura is one of the main raisons of why I watch BJW. His technical moveset is sick, knows how to roll Nakanoue and piss him off in a legit way. Howewer, the later is a brute and threw some big strikes to the techincal wizard. Strong and stiff exchanges, their chemistry is public-known, this was a blast. Both men at the top of their games."

Just a great example of emotion and a perfect Japanese-style match to show to somebody not familiar with it. It's great to watch just to learn how to tell a story with a small amount of moves. Nomura will be a great champion in the near future, for sure."

[8.0] "For what I've seen from BJW this year, it's for me the best BJW match in 2021. It's the consecration of Takuya Nomura, ending Nakanoue's reign that he almost ended some months ago. The technical work at the beginning was great and called us back to their first title match, and the strikes were very stiff. Nomura was not booked as someone less strong than Nakanoue, and I truly liked that. This perspective even made me enjoy the kickouts at 1. ****1/4"

[8.0] "This was not on the level of their great time limit draw match. This had a simple structure of two wrestlers just throwing strikes and bombs and they delivered a good one. This match had a nice pace. Great to see Nomura win. He deserves it. 8/10"
