[6.0] "Everyone in this match is super over, which makes for a red hot audience for it. The match is kind of like a house show match, with fun spots like sting throwing Rude into sid and vader and shit like the heels accidentally landing on each other when they try to cheat. Dustin sure beats on Vader pretty hard. Rude screams "you ain't shit Rhodes" at dustin and it's super easy to make out on the broadcast. Crowd really pops for Dustin powerslamming Vader. Most of this is Dustin vs the heels, I think it could have used a little more time."
[9.0] "1993 was a weird time for WCW as they continued to search both for a consistent identity and a way to regain the popularity to compete with the WWF (which was also struggling somewhat as the post-steroids scandal and other factors decreased interest in wrestling in general). They were able to maintain considerable star power, with the recent return of folks like Ric Flair and Sid Vicious and also (briefly) picking up the British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith, how had recently been at near main event level in the WWF. Despite any overall lull in popularity, the Virginia crowd was super hot for this match and looking at who is involved, I'm not too surprised. I don't usually care for Sid and Rude, Davey, and Sting are all hit or miss to me, but all have the presence of real stars and I think everyone was having a good night, while Dustin and Vader shone super brightly in this match. Dustin and Vader really had amazing chemistry, I am realizing. I mean, what made Vader special is he could have amazing chemistry with basically everyone in his prime but still, they had something really special, the way Dustin just frantically machine gunned blows into Vader trying to break his armor, and Vader firing back with a cannon shot sending 6'4 Dustin flying like a ragdoll, absolutely beautiful stuff. Sandwiched between two great matches (2 Cold Scorpio vs. Barry Windham and Flair & Arn vs. Austin & Pillman) this match gets a bit overlooked but I think it's pretty great in it's own right, this Clash was a very bright spot in a turbulent time. The heel team sneaks out a cheap win here but the energy of the match remains very strong."
[7.0] "So Fucking fun. Crowd is again red hot for the action in ring. A star studded lineup on both sides with some larger than life stars at their best. Everyone got a real moment to shine with maybe the exception of davey he didn't get much time but regardless it was a good match. 3.75/5"
[7.0] "This was a lot of fun. It was pretty much non-stop action. I was surprised to see Sid and Vader bump around as much as they did, but it certainly made the babyface all-star team come across like superheroes. I was a bit disappointed by the finish and wasn't really ready for the match to end when it did, but it was still a really entertaining, high energy six-man."
[7.0] "A really fun six man tag here. A load of talent in this match, and Sid Vicious is here too. I took a jab at Sid but everyone played their role well here. The crowd was really alive for this one and it made the atmosphere for this one great. The heel team manage to get the win here."
[7.0] "The crowd was insanely into this match, which always ups the enjoyment factor for me. It saddens me that half of the competitors in this match are no longer with us, but that's life of being a wrestler. Fantastic crowd heat made this match great."
[6.0] "The crowd was really into this match, especially in the beginning. Then at one point, it just kind of ended. For the guys that were in it, the match itself was kind of disapointing. Was kind of expecting more, but maybe Sid had to run to a softball tournament or something."
[8.0] "I was surprised by how great this match was! It was just a wild, chaotic, fun six man tag match. The crowd were up on their feet going crazy before the guys had even locked up! Dustin Rhodes was the highlight of this match, not only playing Ricky Morton to perfection (which I expected), but getting a MONSTER pop for going all crazy unloading on VADER (which I definitely DIDN'T expect! ). The finish was somewhat cheap but not bad given the big melee. [***3/4]"
[7.0] "Fun piece of business. Sting looked like a mega star, Rude got to push his briefcase gimmick & Sid selling through the ropes for Sting's punches is just *chef's kiss*"
[7.0] "The crowd was incredibly hot for this match, which definitely added to its appeal. It was a very good match regardless, with Dustin Rhodes being the standout for me with some of his power moves on Vader."
[7.0] "The crowd were loving this one. It was pretty much all action straight the way through. They even had Sid do some fun stuff. This is just a fun six man tag all the way ***1/2"
[6.0] "This was Sting and Vader in 1993, so right off the bat you knew it was going to be good. The other four guys were also over, and this was non-stop from the get-go, with Sting a house on fire to start, then Dustin got a surprising amount of offense in on Vader, while the rest held their own. 11 minutes of good heavyweight action."
