[5.0] "Not a good match, an average contest to be fair. There was some technical touch to it with the grappling but maybe too extended and prolonged. Then, the botches didn't contribute positively either. Really didn't care much toward the end but Fujita won. There were some good strike exchanges but that's all I can say and he made Saito submit with the guillotine choke so that was cool. **3/4"

[5.0] "I'm not going to be too harsh on this but I felt like it was a decent outing. Yes, Saito is pretty old at this point and doesn't really have the stamina for a gauntlet of matches like these, which is probably why Fujita was essentially sitting on the guy for the first few minutes before they actually started throwing stuff out, but it kinda plays on that by having Fujita walk all over him. Saito can't really do his kicks anymore and his knee joints have like zero explosive power in them, so suplexes and even basic shit like knee strikes don't look very good at all. It's not a Fujita thing either because he's bumped incredibly well for stuff almost all the time when he has needed to do so. This means that Fujita trying for a German suplex looks like ass as well for the same exact reasons. Fujita brings some good intensity to this despite the drab atmosphere and sells about as well as he can for the guy. Saito does eventually get decent when hurling out Death Cloaks but it's naturally short-lived as Fujita just spams out headbutts for about 5 minutes (dead serious it lasts that long) before choking him out with a front-face lock. Saito's dye had all ran out during the match, so Fujita at the end looks like a pudgy Sliver Surfer with all the sliver on him. It's not a great match and Saito's limitations are obvious, but Fujita drags out a fairly good exchange that inevitably ends in him destroying the NOAH vet. It's about as good as Saito is going to get and by far his best N-1 performance this year (the other matches sucked, for the record) which says a lot about Fujita's work here."

The white dye in Saito's hair was dripping midway through. The bout had more twists than expected, but the climax was the oh-so-simple & thankfully not-often-seen of one, Saito, getting headbutted to death. 2"

I thought many times that the match would end, but Akitoshi survived time after time and every turning point was perceived as a very desirable change of initiative. Strikes and headbutts were frenzied, very tense and angry exchanges. The ending is brutal, and the winner is natural. I don't understand why everyone didn't like this match so much (***1/2)."

However, I liked the finish with Fujita just repeatedly headbutting the shit of Saito. Saito should also get better dye for his hair btw."

Saito at this stage is good for the opening matches and against younger wrestlers, but not against old guys like Fujita. Still I did kinda like parts of the match, but not everything. 6/10"

Moreover, the match was very empty, and it felt like almost nothing happened. The sequence of Fujita's Headbutts was truly too long. *1/4"
