All four guys had a decent showing, especially Ciampa and Dunne who battered eachother. Knight was bleeding hard which made him look badass and Wagner did pretty solid for his debut match even if he was added in for a stupid reason. Ciampa winning made me so damn happy because his first run was the single best title run in NXT ever."

[7.0] "This was a pretty good match. After Samoa Joe vacated the NXT championship, in what we later found out was because of Covid, they had to crown a new champion. Originally Kyle O'Reilly was going to be in the match, but Von Wagner replaced him after O'Reilly got attacked earlier in the night. The match didn't go very long, but there was a lot of action while it lasted. LA Knight got busted open at some point, in what I think was an errant elbow shot from Ciampa as he was doing a dive. Pete Dunne was a real workhorse here, but in the end Tommaso Ciampa won, reuniting with Goldie and helping to work with the younger talent of the 2.0 era. ***1/2"

On the other hand, I saw that at one point LA Knight started bleeding, but I never knew how he did it. And Ciampa becoming NXT champion again, that was very cool to see. [***]"

I was worried that he would look very green compared to the other three who are already established superstars, but for the little he did he was very fair with his moves. The match itself was quite dynamic with an interesting pace, non-stop action for ten minutes and a Tommaso Ciampa on absolute fire who was a real star here. The result makes me happy, it's about time daddy came home."

Sure, fine, would? ve liked it on a special show or TakeOver or something, though. Than they replace Kyle O? Reilly with some dude we? ve never seen before who defends Kyle from Dunne and Holland because? reasons? The match itself was good, wish it was given more time or a bigger stage but whatever. I was legitimately scared multiple times that they would pull the trigger on Van Wagener as champion, glad Ciampa ended up winning."

I was really worried they were gonna put the strap on a nobody, but thankfully that didn't happen. He had a good showing nonetheless. Ciampa winning is fine, but I think Dunne should have won. A fun match on a show that was mainly squashes. [***1/2]"

Was basically a triple threat with Von doing very little and a triple threat with Dunne, Knight and Ciampa was as good as that sounds. Highlight of the match was LA Knight's avalanche brain buster, that was gorgeous"

The match was best when centred around Ciampa and Dunne, and I also liked LA Knight's superplex on Dunne. Don't know why Knight stayed in the match after losing the opener, but at least he was pinned here too. Surprised they went back to Ciampa, but I hope it means Timothy Thatcher turns on him and we get a title feud out of it."
