There's some good spots though where Jericho gets dominated in the early part of the match but starts a comeback with the Lionsault on the chair. Kane's military press slam on Jericho honestly looked a lot more impressive than any of the moves he got 8 and 9 counts from and the finish is creative where Jericho pushes part of the set on top of Kane to bury him and there's a cool visual of Kane's gloved hand popping up. |

I will say, there is certain points of this match where they seem to just be filing time. Other than that, there's very little for me to not like here other than some horrible editing when Jericho hits a Bulldog onto Kane through the table near the end of the match, but that's an editing annoyance that doesn't affect the match. Kane did a great job at working over the smaller man, and Jericho was great as the underdog trying to take down the bigger man. Kane being unable to be defeated until Jericho "crushed" him under the stack of barrels or whatever they were was a cool story. Obviously, they did not crush Kane, but I'm willing to ignore that. A decent match that didn't have that good of a story, but was an enjoyable match all things considered. |

I was worried that it would be a brawl all around the arena at first, but they quickly got back in the ring and went on with the match. Kane was dominating the bout and his offense on Jericho looked brutal, delivering a scary looking Powerslam outside of the ring and a phenomenal Chokeslam inside. They didn't overdo it with near falls since these tend to get monotone and the ones they did got the crowd cheering even louder for Jericho. The finish was so so, but it was still a very good Last Man Standing. |

Back to the ring, Jericho gets a top rope elbow and dumps Kane. Back inside, Kane chokes out Jericho but he's up at 8. Blind charge eats boot, but Kane goes up and hits the flying clothesline. Jericho gets up at 6. Choke slam, Jericho is up at 9. Kane grabs a chair, but Jericho DDTs him before he gets one off. He whacks Kane with the chair then goes up top and hits a missile dropkick, and a Lionsault. Both are up at 9. Kane dumps Jericho on the floor and they brawl again. Jericho blocks a choke slam and rams Kane into a table then does it again, as if it was supposed to break on the first try. Brawl to the entrance way where Jericho pushes over a welded stack of oil barrels onto Kane, clearly no contact is made but Kane is pinned underneath long enough that he can't answer the 10 and Jericho wins. About as good as last months showing. |
