[6.0] "Good opening match, and Angle picks up the win. Shane comes out to distract Angle, but ends up helping him win so he has another match on the night. Not the longest match but I thought it was pretty good and did what it needed to."
[5.0] "Solid opener with Kurt Angle beating Christian. Shane McMahon is playing chess while they are playing checkers. Shane helps Angle win so he will have to wrestle another match and be tired when they face each other later in the night."
[5.0] "This is about as pedestrian a match as you can possibly get. Christian does close to nothing interesting for the entire match. Angle's suplexes are the only thing keeping this watchable. For the last minute or two, they pick things up with excellent counters and near falls which saves this from being a 4 point match, but they certainly didn't do anything to elevate it any higher. Not terrible, but not a great match by any standards."
[7.0] "Good opener, but I gotta be honest and say I think Christian getting the upset over Angle would have been a more interesting outcome because he would have wrestled Edge in the final. It's a very enjoyable wrestling match though where Angle was just next level and Christian got a rare chance to shine in a singles match. The storytelling from Angle was really good where as soon as Shane appears, he looks completely off his game and Christian starts out wrestling him because of it and gets a few good moments before Shane interferes just as he was about to win to have Angle wrestle again."
[7.0] "I liked the match, although they did not show much skill, they maintained a constantly fast speed, this was very well to start, and in the duration it was adequate, I am short but effective to follow the Shane vs Kurt, both looked good. I recommend it."
[6.0] "Pretty good stuff! With this being the least important of Angle's triple-header, it was more of an appetizer, which I have no problem with. Also neat that Edge, Christian, Angle and Rhyno were all on-screen friends around this time and were the final four in KOTR. Shane coming out to help Angle win so that he had to wrestle 3 times was super clever booking, imo."
[6.0] "A pretty good semi final with both guys' work looking alright. It was basically a heel vs heel, but Angle was getting more over at this point after his battles with Benoit and because he was portrayed as a more agressive, legitimate wrestler, so the crowd was invested in this."
[6.0] "In general, it was a good match, but without any surprises. Intervention and forced assistance to Kurt was a pretty smart move from McMahon. ***1/4"
[6.0] "This was a good opener with Christian getting a lot more than I expected he would have. Christian had a cool counter to the angle slam into the unprettier, but Shane broke that up to make Angle work an extra match. Angle won by hitting the angle slam from the ring apron into the ring.***1/4"
[6.0] "This match was decent. Clean work from both participants, but nothing outstanding. Angle was on the offence for the better part of the match, and Shane helped him to end this one quick."
"Awesome match. A lot of psychology that was illustrated nicely. I love how. Christian works in the ring. I like the reverse out of the Angle slam. Shane was playing mind games too. 7.5/10"
[7.0] "Pretty nice match. They had some nice wrestling and sequences. Shane interference was obviously the major plot, distracting Angle to let Christian take control and then stopping him to get the victory for Angle to have one more match on the night, it was smart."
[7.0] "This was pretty nice with a lot of action in a match that went under ten minutes. Angle has talked about how he suffered a concussion during this match although it wasn? t obvious when that happened. Shane got involved to further the story that he wanted Angle to get tired out by wrestling another match before Angle faced Shane later in the show. Good match ***1/4"
