[2.0] "This is the Giant Baba show. Aimed to give him a showcase for the fans in the long awaited single promoted Tokyo Dome event. And you may think that Hayabusa and Shinzaki can give the match some juice but it didn't prevent the terrible pacing that this had. The previous match had a slow pace but had something to keep you hooked. This had very little quality. The high spots of the match were Shinzaki attempting his rope walks. This crawls to 20 minutes with a few bright spots but very little else. Hayabusa gets the win at the end. *"
[6.0] "This match-up has a lot of ups and downs. Less Baba probably have been a better choice, as I did like his part of how the match ended but , due to his age in this match, he was very awkward in a lot of this bout. Jinsei and Hayabusa were a highlight, a big one."
[7.0] "I disagree with the consensus it seems. This is a decent match. Firstly, yes, Baba is not what he once was but I personally enjoyed seeing him with odd opponents and he knows how to get something out of his now massive limitations. Hayabusa, Shinzaki and Shiga do some really nice junior heavyweight wrestling including a lovely dive to the outside by Hayabusa. Kimala is the weakest here to be honest but its still decent. A good match that I'd even reccomend."
[4.0] "Yes, this match exists just to give the fans a baba moment. And honestly I would understand why it was booked. But baba wasn't good at all, considering he was suffering from colon cancer. All of the participates did their part. And the post match of Hayabusa and shinzaki reuniting was great here. Overall a dud match few good moments"
[4.0] "Quite slow and too long. Giant Baba is a legend, but he was already 60 and segments with him were especially slow, although he interacted well with the audience. Interactions between tag team partners Hayabusa and Shinzaki were the best moments, but there were not as many of them as would like. 4 points."
[4.0] "A weird mix of characters here but this isn't particularly good: the match is held down by guys like Shiga and Kimala, who can only do so much. Baba has the charisma to get past the fact that he can't do more than maybe 2 bumps a match and him and Shinzaki have a reasonably cool sequence together: it's undoubtfully the best part in the match by him even if Shinzaki does most of the work by himself anyway. Hayabusa and Shinzaki have, naturally, great chemistry together and have some agile spots with each other as they were really the only people who could actually work well by this point: Shiga can do dropkicks and the occasional good looking springboard but that's basically it. That bumps this up to a 4, but it's a low 4 considering the immobility of many of the wrestlers here, it was basically just a lot of big spots that saves this one. Match ends when Hayabusa gets a solid 450 splash on Izumida for the three."
