Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

[5.0] "Think this is the last match these two have with Nakamura as this weird not-likable babyface before he finds his roots with the CHAOS stable and all that and thank god, this version of Shinsuke especially with the trunks in this match is Not It. Tana is once again pretty good and Naka is frustrating with his refusal to sell the leg properly after Tana works over it for a good while too. It's a bit of a reversal on their last match where Tana didn't have the answer to beat Nakamura but was super interesting in telling that story and revolving the match around him whereas this one Tana definitely has it figured out and it's up to Nakamura to present an interesting and fulfilling performance in a match he's not cut out to win but sadly he does not hold up that end of things. It's far from a squash or anything but it's Tana's most definitive win over Nakamura at this point and always looks like the better wrestler the whole match so that's nice, fun to see him use a late match rana counter a couple months after he beat Mutoh too. In the most fitting end possible Tana bitch slaps him a couple times, takes out his knee and hits two High Fly Flows to win."

[8.0] "I gave this match ****. This was the usual match between these two during this time period where the the first half of the match is quite boring to me, but then the lat 10 minutes or so really draws you in"
