It starts off badly when Moxley gives Archer one of the worst looking DDTs I've ever seen on the floor. Then we pull the fork out and start stabbing so Lance can sell for about 2 minutes while Moxley goes furniture shopping for a couple of minutes. Then they do more shit with the fork, then we get barb wire boards out in a parade of endless bullshit. I have absolutely no idea why you'd do this when you're hyping the Nick Gage deathmatch the week after either. *1/2 |

The chokeslam on the chairs set shivers down my spine. The forc spots were wild and the final chokeslam on the tables and the barbed wire was crazy. Great moment with Archer winning, too. 8/10 - 4*/5* |

| 74 | 25.11.2021 | hassan01 | 8.0 | 13 and a half minutes of chaos , destruction and pandemonium to its finest degree. It was an all out war with high octane and electrifying wrestling action. The story telling was very detailed and covered a lot of depth. The ring psychology was developed and strong. They developed the early notion of the size and power difference between Moxley and Lance. Lance over-powered Moxley on several occasions. Moxley would level this by targeting the calf and knee region of Archer even hitting a pure wrestling move like the dragon screw. He would focus his attention on that body part for a good amount of time. There were few moments where Jon out of desperation resorted for cheap shots such as the low-blow which is only legal in No DQ matches like this one and it was not a gentle man move but the high stakes forced him to do such as he was under pressure and the fiery will to win once again against one of his familiar foes. It was a hard hitting and gruesome battle with brutal spots that added color and flavor to this war of attrition. No regards or damns given about the well-being of their opponent unleashing a bulk of offense on them and in the most hardcore way possible as the prestigious US heavyweight title was up for grabs. The hard-hitting element in the match is evidence to this statement and other than that. My favorite spots and the most brutal in this match were Moxley being thrown into the setting he himself created which consisted of two tables and two boards of barbed wire. Also, being choke-slammed into the edge's of two chairs and once again a idea that he gave birth to. One can infer that this may be due to Moxley's confidence as a result of him being undefeated against the murder hawk monster and this confidence proved to be costly for Moxley. Lance would win this match after Mox was thrown into the barbed wire+ tables destructive array and could not answer the count as he was in excruciating pain while his skin was also stuck in the sharp edges of the barbed wire. Other hardcore spots include the savage use of the fork and the paradigm shift outside. They established in the early goings that this was no wrestling match rather a bloody brawl and they succeeded in doing so to their benefit. The atmospheric intensity and fiery energy of this bout elevated its engagement for the viewer. There was also tons of momentum accompanying it and a sequence in the mid of the match was very enjoyable for me as they showed that they operated on adrenaline rush , using pain as fuel and through pure will power that helped them continue moving forward despite the suffering they had gone through. Marvelous match content for sure and the best of the Moxley/Archer series ending in a fitting way with the murder hawk monster prevailing. ****1/4 |

Stiff shots, great comebacks, and Mox's chair bump was fkn brutal. On top of all that, the hometown guy won for a huge pop, creating one of the best moments in the career of Lance Archer. ****1/2 for me. |

| 82 | 30.08.2021 | TSwifty | 1.0 | Similar to Mox and Archer's last AEW match this had a whole lot of them looking for weapons, wasting time and brawling around the arena like we see in every Moxley/hardcore match. I'm not sure how anyone can say there's no blood in wrestling anymore because this company has a blade job every week. Similar to Jericho, Moxley doesn't hide it either. Not a single spot stood out as all that impressive or brutal. Not much selling from either guy because they had to wrap the show up. One pretty good sequence near the finish. Just a very uninteresting and forgettable match. * |
