4 | 11.05.2025 | Rassle Fan | 9.0 | Sami Callihan's best match that he's ever going to have. He can only do hardcore matches and doesn't really do those well. However, when Kenny Omega is the other half, you'd have to actively work to have a bad match. Luckily that didn't happen as this was a great war. |
5 | 13.03.2025 | Bongo | 9.0 | One of my favorite matches in the Belt Collector run. Kenny in a hardcore environment is one of those things you don't expect to work, but every time he's in it, it turns out amazing. Loved the creative weapon usage and the brutal moves and strikes they used. Jay White appearing after the match was a nice surprise at the time. ****1/2 |

15 | 17.07.2024 | Oswuold | 10.0 | Very enjoyable No DQ with a lot of weapons and and even pizza cutters, forks and thumbtacks. The crescendo was really good and despite I wasn't a fun of the interference the final stretch and the last OWA were definetely cool. Really, really enjoyable and fun light-hardcore match. ***** |

61 | 18.01.2022 | GonzoAppreciator | 10.0 | One of the best hardcore matches I've ever seen and easily the best Callihan match I've watched. Omega and Callihan told a fantastic story in the ring and absolutely destroyed each other with brutal moves and weapons. |

64 | 03.01.2022 | Minorsmile09 | 10.0 | This is the best hardcore match I've seen since the Mick Foley days. Jesus, what a match, these two just BRUTALIZED each other. They used a wide array of moves and weapons to just beat the everloving Christ out of each other. Just an amazing match, at this point a personal favorite of mine from Kenny Omega and potentially Sami Callihan's best match ever. *4.75* |

70 | 19.11.2021 | hassan01 | 10.0 | Exciting and explosive wrestling content produced right here in Nashville. This was high intensity action packed wrestling from bottom to start except for a minute or so where the substance felt a bit plodding. Despite this, there should be nothing taken away from this match at all. A clear MOTN along with top-notch story-telling which is hard to find in deathmatches as majority repeat the same formula and structure. This match had a very strong and developed foundation that was able to withstand this match for such a long time and that too successfully. It provided the match a direction and flow that carried it for the rest of its run-time. It had the vibrant and energetic atmosphere along with the fiery inferno intensity. They were also able to maintain the ring-psychology in very smart and protective manner with humane references and responses to actions. There was evident rage and enmity directed towards the rival opponents which resulted in a bloody and violent war of attrition. There was focused emphasis on story advancements here such as Sami having the advantage as he was comfortable with the match environment and surroundings and would implode on Kenny releasing his aggression there and slicing him up with a pizza cutter. Kenny knew that he had to up his game here too and adapted to the uncomfortable and dangerous environment. Both had to dig in deep and get innovative as their sadism bar also saw a noticeable rise because they were willing to sacrifice their own health and well-being for the Impact world title and had to show no mercy to their adversary in order to finally defeat them. Further, Kenny was aware that he could not go a 100 percent fair and square here and so used salt to blind him as he would accidentally take out the referee. The physicality toll of the bout was able to exhibit the electrifying intensity of the battle. The ending was fantastic with Omega trying to make a statement by disrespecting Sami by forcing thumbtacks in the mouth of Sami and then connecting with a V-trigger but even then Sami would kick out showcasing his grit and lionheart demeanor. Kenny would then use the last resort that is the one winged angle and there was no kicking out of that. I also liked the part where Kenny injects his knee into the pile of tacks to make the knee more painful and effective thus hurting him in the process too but that did not matter. Also, liked ow Sami thrived from the pain and suffering. They used everything barbed wire steel chairs, pizza cutter, forks, bins , wet floor caution sign among many others. The pile-driver through the table was savage. Good brothers being taken care of by the Impact OG's was a nice touch. This was all fires ablaze but in the end Kenny survived everything thrown at him. The blood added a engaging visual while incorporating a layer of flavor into the match. The work-rate was phenomenal and there was loads of drama with the near fall as Kenny barely kicked out. Awesome match overall. ****3/4 |

75 | 08.09.2021 | TSwifty | 9.0 | Loved this match. Easily Omega's best match from his disappointing run in Impact. Callihan isn't really a great wrestler but he's a great character and thrives in this environment. This also felt different from any other Omega big match we've seen recently. Excellent start with Callihan immediately hitting a piledriver and gaining control. The pace slows down but there's enough brutal spots to keep things interesting. They built to the big spots really well. Loved the piledriver onto the table and the Tombstone. There was some silly overbooking but at least it didn't ruin the match this time. Omega's V-Triggers looked killer here and so did all his big moves. The V-Trigger with the thumbtacks was really creative as well. Major props to Don Callis for bringing such life every time he shows up or does commentary. ****1/4 |

But anyways, these two had a surprising amount of chemistry and seemed willing to do whatever. Kenny is not phoning it in on these IMPACT shows and Sami stepped up big time. |
