Adam Pearce vs. Brent Albright

[7.0] "Against all odds, Albright and Pearce's previous encounter managed to be one of ROH's best matches of the year. While they failed to recapture that magic here, this was still a pretty good match, and it's clear that these two have a surprising level of chemistry with each other. Unfortunately, I thought the finish was fairly weak and made Albright look bad. Entertaining overall, but nowhere near as dramatic or intense as their last match."

[7.0] "Pearce and associates played the heel part well and Albright was okay as the face whose arm was injured."

[8.0] "These two, shockingly, had one of the best matches of 2008 at Death Before Dishonor VI. This rematch isn't quite at the same level, but they still have great chemistry. Albright puts in a motivated, fired-up performance, and Pearce is entertaining with his old-school heel shenanigans. Unexpected finish here sees Pearce go over clean by using Albright's own submission to target his damaged arm."

[6.0] "Not as good as the last match they had. I had the feeling they were working this like they didn't had much time. And bad booking to make Albright lose the title so quick. **3/4"

[7.0] "Not as good as their last match, but it still provided a lot of old-school fun. I know the average ROH fan doesn't care for Adam Pearce, but his style of wrestling draws you in more than the usual spotfest and he's one of the few guys who draws legitimate heat."
