[4.0] "It was a chaotic little battle royale, and tag team battle royales usually end up feeling like nonsense because of the "one man gets eliminated so two men are out" kind of stipulation. Farooq launching Christian like a surface to air missile out of the ring absolutely ruled, though, so there's that."
[3.0] "This is your very basic battle royal but with the added frustration of them making the referee the most incompetent human being on the planet. They only have one ref out there, and he misses two Posse members being eliminated, missed when Matt and Bradshaw both go out, and then misses Faarooq going out. The amount of idiocy they go through to try and maybe protect a few teams in a battle royal of all things is absurd. Your dime a dozen match that pushes your intelligence to the limit. Very poor."
[4.0] "Since when did they only have one official at ringside for a battle royal? That's just a completely illogical way to have him miss several eliminations. I'm not a fan of the ruleset with these tag team battle royals and one of my least favourite PPV matches of all time was the WrestleMania 14 version, but thankfully it was a lot better than that one because the teams are well established and they are (mostly) sensible with the booking where the four best teams in the match made that last four. The Hardys are still very impressive to watch, Edge and Christian was somewhat protected with the cheap way they was eliminated. And the Acolytes end up winning despite the missed the Faarooq elimination, which might have been a bit more meaningful had they not already done that spot several times with the hapless Mean Street Posse. The referee looked stupid beyond belief!"
[6.0] "A fun match with all the good talent and mean street posse .The synergy of all teams were good and in the final stretch Jeff and Bradshaw gets eliminated leaving farooq and Matt . Farooq wins after elimination of Matt"
[6.0] "The match started quite messy, as would any tag-team battle royal... however the final two of the Hardyz and the soon-to-be APA was a great closing stretch"
[4.0] "Its just a battle royale without much interesting. The Hardy's do some nice stuff once its down to just the Hardys and the Acolytes but the rest is just filler. The finish doesn't really help it with the ref missing the eliminations over ant over"
[5.0] "They really surprised me with this one. It wasn't as chaotic as the WrestleMania Tag Team Battle Royal back in the day, plus they had more spots planned here. Still, it was a Battle Royal, so nothing to be that excited about, but the final showdown between The Acolytes and The Hardys was fantastic. The drama there was great and overall the cheating spots throughout the whole match from the heel teams really worked."
[7.0] "A good battle royal with some stupid things in it due to only being 1 referee, which came into play on several different occasions especially at the end with Bradshaw, faarooq and Matt hardy all being eliminated but just carrying on anyway . Jeff hardys elimination was great though"
[5.0] "Tag team battle royals, not since the '80s has one been good. Even the ones then weren't great, just good. Bubba Ray Dudley comes out with D-Von to cut a stupid stuttering promo. I didn't like the stuttering gimmick. It was cringy. Edge & Christian come out and knock the Dudleys out of the ring. Then, the rest of the teams come out and the match begins. Teams were eliminated pretty definitively in that no eliminations were missed on camera, as is the usual for battle royals. The Dudley BOys were the most over team in the match, which is why it's surprising that the Acolytes got the win even after two eliminations."
[5.0] "Whoever wins gets a shot at the Outlaws belts at The Rumble. Only one referee at ringside so you KNOW that's gonna screw the ending! Rodney is the first one out but Joey Abs sneaks to ringside and they do the Demolition switch and Abs takes his place in the ring. Abs gets tossed then Rodney switches back in, Swamp Gas gets thrown out and the ref finally catches two of them on the floor at the same time and the Posse are gone. Henry throws out Mosh to get rid of the Bangers then Henry follows almost immediately. Christian and Scotty fight on the apron then Edge and Sexay charge both guys but Christian backdrops Sexay out and Edge knocks off Scotty. They were tweeners at this moment but would be turned baby face instead of goofy heels in a short time. D-Von rolls outside and pulls Edge out and eliminates E+C. That leaves Acolytes, Hardyz and Dudleyz. Dudleyz with the double neck breaker. JR thinks all their double teams are the 3D. Matt sneaks right up and heave ho's D-Von. Crowd is crazy for the Hardyz. Jeff and Bradshaw do the spill over the ropes and hang on the apron, and Jeff with a missle dropkick isn't enough to drop Bradshaw to the floor. Faarooq gets eliminated on the other side but the ref is out of position so he sneaks back in. Matt and Bradshaw on the apron and Faarooq puts Jeff into orbit on an alley oop and the Acolytes win it. Better than the usual battle royal."
[2.0] "Battles Royal are hard to get right, and this one proved that. Boring, hard to follow, full of blatant and annoying cheating, and the wrong winners."
[5.0] "There was some fun to be had with this match even though they seemed to be doing their best to ruin it. The whole thing with the referee being the dumbest of all time was just too much."
[2.0] "This may be the messiest battle royal I've ever seen. I know it was supposed to be a fucked finish but it came across as sloppy. The Hardy's just looked dumb and Bradshaw & Faarooq looked weak and it just all looked dumb"
