Austin Aries vs. Naomichi Marufuji

[7.0] "I enjoyed this for the most part. Marufuji frustrated Aries early, who was eventually about to take over by targeting Marufuji's neck. Aries did well working the body part over, but it didn't quite seem to lead to anything too significant - although at least being the neck instead of an arm or leg meant Marufuji didn't need to completely ignore it all to hit his usual moves, which is often an issue for him. Both men have very nice looking offence (minus a springboard dropkick from Marufuji near the end that completely missed) and the match had a good, competitive atmosphere. The finish was a little odd, but it worked with the story that seemed to be going for with Aries having Marufuji's key offence scouted. Not perfect, but still a pretty good match."

[6.0] "Slow and lacking in intensity but it picked up a bit towards the end with a good finishing flourish from Marufuji."

[7.0] "A pretty good match here. Crowd wasn't too hot, but they were still into these two hitting each other pretty hard. Ended right as things were finally picking up."

[8.0] "Marafuji's kicks are a thing of beauty, and Aries gently sliding from babyface to heel depending on where he was in the match was the icing on the cake. Good stuff"
