[7.0] "Solid, good story being old rather well, bit long but tons of stuff happening to justify the length. "overbooking" helped this one quite a lot to maintain attention at first but then was just too much 7.5"

"I feel as though this was a fantastic example of a time-limit draw, just because of how compelling the face/heel dynamic between these two was. Nigel's cowardice and Tyler's frustration was amazing, and I think that (while there's always room for improvement) this was a great performance from both of them. Comes to mind a a highlight from Tyler's ROH stint. I liked how crazy things got for a while there - if I were booking, I'd have done the same, let everyone get in on the fun... solid match. Matches like this really solidify Tyler/Seth's legacy in ROH and in his pre-WWE career, as I really feel that when it comes to pro-wrestling, he's (in the simplest of terms) gifted. Definitely one I'll revisit."

[5.0] "I am not clear why Adam Pearce booked the match to be this long, because he appeared to have no faith in the wrestlers to actually work an engaging Time Limit Draw. He overbooked everything that he possibly could have come up with to sustain the run time. There were three promos during the match, an absurd amount of run ins, and a nonsensical finish where the bell rang eleven whole minutes early (as if the crowd would have even been keeping track of the time to realise it was a screwjob). To say some positives, prior to all the interference I thought Nigel and Tyler had done well pacing the bout in a way that held my attention and all of the wrestling to that point had been good (despite the promo breaks). The match felt very unfocused by the end, however, as prior to the run ins they started working a back injury angle that promptly went nowhere and ended up being completely ignored once everybody interrupted the match instead. Bryan coming out to lecture everybody about how 'this isn't what ROH is all about! ' felt ludicrous (no, it isn't what ROH is all about... So perhaps don't book it? ). It was like they knew they had to give Tyler an 'out' to protect him in defeat but couldn't decide which angle to use, so instead they went with all of them. This had enough going for it that it definitely could have earned a good rating, but the booking was so god awful that I think even a mediocre 5.0 is pushing it, which is unfortunate because the wrestlers were clearly working hard. The most comical aspect for me was that they essentially already elevated BlAn absolute farce and a contender for worst booked main event in ROH history."

[7.0] "While the performance overall could be better, the match itself was more than solid and a good main event. The best thing around it was the ability to shift the crowd from being against Tyler (screaming BS at Tyler because he got the title shot instead of Austin) to being against Nigel (screaming BS at Nigel for not giving 5 more minutes), done by clever writing. The mid-match interruption by everyone, while being completely logical story-wise, felt extremely forced and a bit dragged. Still, it was fun to watch. And finally, while selling of the main maneuvers by both wrestlers was top notch, selling during punches and kicks felt a bit off. It was present, but a bit lackluster in my opinion. Overall, this match is really good and I enjoyed thoroughly, but I cannot reject the potential it had to becoming one of the greatest 60-minute matches of ROH. Still, that wasted potential wasn't big enough for me to be disappointed. I ended up having fun watching this match."

[8.0] "Zuh? Prazak immediately starts comparing it to other great 60-minute matches, which is a nice touch. Lenny Leonard isn't having it. Of course, it was later revealed that there were shenanigans, which kind of makes Danielson's mid-match speech about what the title means seem silly. Then again, the fact that they had a lecture in the middle of a title match in the first place is rather counter-intuitive. Anyway, this is somewhat reminiscent of Flair/Sting from Clash of the Champions I in that Tyler really did look like a legit threat to take the title, but Nigel came through with chicanery. Not nearly the epic classic they probably wanted, but it was plenty good for a main event"
