That's not necessarily a bad thing, as it's the correct way to build the action this sort of match. TNA also wisely went with the entrants in order of in-ring capability circa 2009, starting out with Angle versus Styles, ending with Nash and Jarrett. The roof holding a stop sign, guitar, trash can, and other silly garbage match fare instead of all being actual weapons was dumb, but at least there was a kendo stick. Really good. Bobby Lashley showed up after the match ambiguously aligned with Kurt Angle, even though a Team Angle/Main Event Mafia loss is a bad time to declare one's allegiance to said losers. |
