[8.0] "(First Watch:2024)Cima vs Susumu Yokosuka 9.17.04-I think the first 10 minutes of this are near perfect. The first 5 minutes being an inspiration for Gleats entire style and the 6-10 minute mark being peak limb work. The limb work selling is also great until they get towards the end of the match. I think it cools off towards the end of the match in comparison but it's still pretty good when not compared. (Second Watch:2025) This match has two insanely good matches if you separate the first 15 minutes and the last 10, but with them combined there's a lot of inconsistences in the limb work selling especially from Cima. Susumu's Fighting Spirit in the end before falling back down was really really good and if the two parts were isolated they'd be great but they aren't and with that its still great but not as great as it could've been."

[7.0] "There are some parts of this that I loved (mostly due to Susumu), but at the end of the day this one just goes too long and has too much filler for me to say it's truly great. Don't get me wrong it's really good, and a very promising match for the first one in the Open the Dream Gate lineage, just needed some editing down. 3.75 stars"

[8.0] "The first Open The Dream Gate Match! It started really with some great chain wresting, this was more in the mexican style and it was really interesting to watch. CIMA worked viciously on Susumu's right arm while Susumu worked on CIMA's left knee, it was pretty usual but the dynamic is always interesting especially with these two sharp technicians. While CIMA's selling wasn't the best on the long term though i really liked the fact he didn't attempt any meteoras to not fuck his knees up even more, Susumu's one was excellent until the end, he struggled to hit his Jumbo No Kashi especially at the end where he nearly collapsed out of energy but he despite that he nearly got the win several times. Susumu getting up defiant after CIMA's schwein to collapse against CIMA and this latter finished the match right after was awesome. Excellent match - ****"

[7.0] "This is a historic bout. The first ever title defence of the Open The Dream Gate Title by CIMA, who was champion by proxy as he was the Ultimo Dragon Gym Champion at the time of the move from Toryumon Japan to the new promotion. That makes sense. It's history is canon in the Company despite the bad blood and it being a different promotion entirely. Susumu Yokosuka won the title match opportunity by defeating Dragon Kid, Milano Collection AT and Toru Owashi in a four way match in the company? s first Korakuen Hall show (I believe) on the 22nd of August. The match had its ups and downs. When these two were working on each other's limbs (leg for CIMA, arm for Susumu), the match was quite boring. Initially it was fine with Susumu trying to suck CIMA? s wind by attacking his stomach and throat but then opted for the leg, and then CIMA getting pissed and snapping at Susumu? s arm after a rope break. But then it got dull fast and there wasn't much selling on display. Naturally, the match shone through these two doing intricate, exciting sequences on their feet or in the air. The crowd was hooked on the match regardless of what they were doing though. CIMA looked dominant but Susumu was a bit worthy challenger and made CIMA work for the win, kicking out of the Schwein and forcing CIMA to do a modified version of it. The basic Dream Gate match, really. ***1/2"
