[9.0] "[4.25*] Absolutely fucking amazing. The best 6-min match I've ever seen and this will not be topped. It was already legendary even before the bell rang with that Madonna entrance by Sapp, but the match itself was just a dudes rock contest with a frenetic pacing, tons of cool spots and, most importantly, a lot of character work condensed in those 6 minutes. It's just a complete match, man. It has it all. The best dopamine fest ever lol. After the match ended, Sapp started dancing AGAIN, making the whole thing even better. Legendary stuff, a new personal favorite of mine."

[7.0] "This is a crazy little sprint of a heavyweight showdown. Entrances are incredible. Bob Sapp couldn't do much, but Muta was so good he could hide any weaknesses that Bob had, and they come out guns blazing. Muta throws everything he's got at this dude, Shining Wizards, Mist, nothing can stop this freak of nature and Bob Sapp beats Muta like it's nothing. Sometimes in wrestling wacky shit like this just works. They had the crowd the whole time. Muta gets so mad at losing he turns it the ring into an exploding time bomb ring. Incredible. ***1/2"

[7.0] "I was EXTREMELY sports entertained. Man, imagine if Dream Stage and all the money and star power they had went towards a sports-entertainment focused brand that generated this level of big fight feel instead of going fully into comedy with HUSTLE. What could have been... regardless, between the spectacle of the entrances through to a SPECTACULAR carry job by Muta, Sapp gets his somewhat awkward big man moments in and Mutoh sells his ass off for it and gives the match the gravitas it needs. Massive big fight feel, crowd is into literally every slight movement, some awesome pre and post match shenanigans, and honestly Sapp holds up his end of the bargain about as well as you could expect from a guy of his awkward mobility and limited in ring skills. About the best match these two could have possibly had. *** 1/2."

[8.0] "This is an amazing sub 10 minute main event which excellently protects its new star, if tarnishing the Muta mystique a bit to get there. Judging by the commentators reactions, this was the first time Mutoh ever donned the mask rather than the facepaint, making this a pretty historical event. Sapp's entrance is a wonderful little dance number and he pulls out some insane stuff for a roided up kickboxer to be doing, and Muta is mobile enough to both bump and break out his own offense. Having Sapp no sell the mist and two straight Shining Wizards was a bit much in my opinion(especially with the kickout at nothing added on), but the ending detail of Muta putting his leg up expecting a splash but getting a headbutt instead was a very nice subtle detail."

The fact that this match went 6 minutes yet felt like 60 minutes shows how awful this match was. Bob sapp is a terrible fighter in MMA and Pro wrestling, but he is a great comedian. But this match ruined the great muta's character more then vince russo did in WCW 2000. And this match main eventing is a slap to many people working hard to climb the ranks. I don't hate the pro wrestling love era but this is one of the worst thing about mutoh's presidency. A dud of a match"

Honestly, I was ready to give the match a high rating already during Bob's amazing entrance (it was SO good), but the match itself really pleasantly surprised me even despite its short duration. A classic David and Goliath match, where Bob's weaknesses were less noticeable due to his opponent's selling and the structure of the match, where he spent a significant amount of time destroying him, and when Muta had the initiative, he seemed to take almost no damage."

There is also a post match angle where Sapp is electrified by The Great Muta. Offense looked good, look this one up its short and worth the watch. ****"

[9.0] "This match is not for those who like a classic wrestling style. However, for me this match is a very enjoyable one. Both entrances were great, especially Sapp's. His dancing was very comical and I thoroughly loved it. The in ring wrestling was pretty good, with the green mist from Muta and Sapp selling very well for his fist match. Sapp's showcase of power moves was great. The top rope dive for the finish was solid. Very good match from Sapp."

[7.0] "I guess 'sports entertainment' as a way to describe a pro-wrestling match became a thing recently, and this match does 'sports entertainment' incredibly well - both entrances, colorful characters and Bob Sapp dancing for the longest time when Muta got out of the ring, it was fucking hilarious (just like whatever the fuck Muta was trying to do after that with mist spitting and pyro to get his heat back). But it's also what this match wasn't - it was straight to the point, every big move looked good, and the match overall got over Sapp because he just kicked out of Muta's Shining Wizard and Moonsault."

[10.0] "This match is fucking AWESOME. Sapp dances to the ring with some girls half his size, Muta just APPEARS in the ring in a blast of red smoke. Sapp hits a couple of the biggest powerbombs I've ever seen, Muta mists him out of one while in midair. Muta tries to get the Shining Wizard at every possible opportunity to wear Sapp down, Sapp powerbombs him out of one to show who the victor will be. Muta bumps his ass off, Sapp sells pretty damn well while looking like The Beast at the same time. Muta threw his entire arsenal at Sapp, Sapp threw his entire body at Muta (seriously the football tackle to the leaping leg drop to the floor? Holy shit Bob). The crowd is going insane for it the entire time too, and they tell their story in under 7 minutes. This is the blueprint upon which modern Lesnar WWE matches that aren't against Reigns are built, but it's better than pretty much all of them except the Bryan one. ****1/2"

Sapp's powerbombs are like Godzilla toppling a building, that's how destructive they are. Muta fighting underneath was crazy to see, his goal was just to shining wizard his way through, and it didn't work out. Bob Sapp hit the craziest John Woo dropkick I've ever seen where Muta bounced around like a pinball. Bob Sapp might be the greatest wrestler alive. Then he did a really good looking diving headbutt for the win, AND IMMEDIATLEY DANCED! This is the Dude. Bob Sapp rules."

[9.0] "Okay, sue me, this match was a joy. Pure sports entertainment, which you wouldn't expect from a show that was mostly a crossover of wrestlers and MMA guys. Muta sells like an absolute maniac to get Sapp over. The sheer size difference between the two of them creates spots you wouldn't see anywhere else, like Muta hitting the Shining Wizard bouncing off the REFEREE, which popped me hard. Sapp hits a plancha, which makes this match worth seeing for that alone. Big lad kicks out of green mist followed by two Shining Wizards to wreck Muta afterward, and this is a pleasant surprise."

[7.0] "I was afraid that the entrances would be the best I'd see from these two, but I was surprised at how well Muta sold Sapp. It was a really good competitive match, which was like the end of a big match. I liked the idea of doing a sprint using Keiji's signature moves. They gave the audience pleasure, they showed Sapp strong, they made a good play of losing to Muta and in the end they staged what can be called a match. Many tense moments, such as the sudden mist of Muta, also affected the quality. I wouldn't be surprised if this is Sapp's best match (***1/4)."
