Das Ding ist temporeich, wobei das als Tornado-Tag auch endlich einmal legitimiert und sehenswert abgebildet wird. Hier jagt man nicht Spot um Spot, sondern man bringt auch schwungvolle Submissions und Nearfalls mit Routine und nachvollziehbarer Dramatik. Klar, am Ende ist man kurz davor, doch noch zu overpacen, aber bis dahin ist das ein gutes Match aller Beteiligter. |

Both teams made the most of the stipulation and the physicality and hard hitting element present in the match got the message across that how much disdain and hate , both units had for each other . It did not need depth in terms of story telling as this was more focused on beating the living daylights out of their respective adversaries . The demonstration of in ring chemistry and cohesion was amazing and sequences such as the technical sequence involving Zack and Timothy was brilliant with some impressive transitions and reversals . The match was a nice slugfest and the way they were brutally striking each other was great . It had sound ring psychology as well . My favorite spot was the doomsday device to Ciampa on the outside and then the back suplex on the cover of the table and as Zack attempts to slam him through the table , it is reversed by Ciampa into a air raid crash on the table . This distracts James who is then met by the wrath of both the ferocious competitors in Ciampa and Thatcher and then a double submission hold is locked in . Thatcher with the ankle lock and Ciampa with his trademark submission forcing James to tap out . It had a superb pace and was very momentous as well. The suspense was there too when Thatcher was hit by a ticket to mayhem and Ciampa is able to collect a surge of adrenaline to barely break it . Other close calls also contributed to further improve this factor as well. Magnificent match overall . It had good sequences and had blistering strikes for the most part and a high physicality touch to it . Nice work by all four men . ****1/4 |

GYV are very underrated and this is just below their Vengeance Day match with MSK for the best match they have had this year. The stipulation worked very well and it made for a good brawl utilizing all areas that they could of the CWC. Probably my favorite NXT TV match (at the time) since Kushida/Escobar 2/3 Falls. Well worth checking out. I do question where GYV go from here as they are unfortunately always losing in high profile situations. Ciampa & Thatcher/MSK should be unique if nothing else. |

Ciampa and Thatcher are masterful brawlers, with Thatcher's technical prowess tying it all together. Some great moments, including selling a pin cover? something that should probably happen way more than it does. An excellent main event. |

But we got this match here in a solid context as it was the main event of this excellent episode, they got plenty of time and despite a commercial hurting the momentum of the match, it was still absolutely terrific. I love Tornado tags and would love to see more of them, especially when the stipulation is used in this way with workers of this quality, they had been in a rivalry for weeks, they had even had a good match before and this one felt like the end of a rivalry, I found the intensity I was hoping to see and Ciampa & Thatcher came out of this very good feud very strong. Hope to see them against MSK anytime soon, but anyway, this main event was a killer. |

Big win for Ciampa and Thatcher, they'll provide an interesting dynamic against MSK. |
