[6.0] "Very enjoyable, even though I'm no fan of Bossman he does very well here in a hardcore match that kinda actually feels like a hardcore match. The interference from Mankind was A+, and giving Road Dogg a title after Billy Gunn just got screwed over was great."
[6.0] "A chaotic early era Hardcore match with brutal offense from Bossman and Road Dogg's underdog resilience. Mankinds interference added to the excitement, leading to a satisfying title win."
[8.0] "This was surprisingly great to watch and it was easy to get invested in because of how Billy Gunn was screwed over earlier in the show and Road Dogg goading Bossman into defending his title and then winning was a very satisfying feel good moment even with Mankind's help at the end. It was a fun early era Hardcore match where pretty much everything Bossman does looks brutal and I think he makes Road Dogg bleed with his bare hands. Roadie does a good job fighting from underneath and staying in the fight and gets some good spots when it spills out in the crowd. I must admit when Bossman's attempt to use white powder backfired, I did laugh when the commentators implied it was cocaine!"
[6.0] "Another good match here, always enjoy watching Hardcore matches and this is one of the first best ones. A lot of involvement outside of the ring and Mankind comes and helps Road Dogg win"
[5.0] "Und dann verliert die Corporation in dieser RAW-Episode doch noch einen Titel. Es ist zwar der unwichtigste Gürtel der Firma, aber das Match passt recht ordentlich zur Beschreibung und die Fans gehen auch gut mit. Das ist natürlich kein Spitzenmatch, aber am Ende holt sich der Roadie dank Mankind und Netz seinen ersten Singles-Titel in der WWF."
[7.0] "Kicked off a very enjoyable reign for the Road Dogg here. Bossman looked like a brute with Road Dogg fighting from underneath (as always). Roadie gets the win with some outside interference from Mankind, not an especially babyface way to win a title but Roadie was so over no one was going to complain."
