[8.0] "Out of Misawa's two ROH matches, I thought this one was far better than the singles encounter he had with KENTA. At this point in his career, it was pretty obvious that Misawa was limited in what he could do, but thankfully here he had three other wrestlers to help carry the load and cover up his weaknesses. The time limit draw is disappointing, but I thought it allowed for a really exciting final sprint where everyone was in a mad dash to get the victory. The final exchange between KENTA and Marufuji in particular really got over the urgency and desperation of both guys trying to get the pin. I remember when this match was first announced in 2007, a lot of people were disappointed because they wanted to see Misawa go up against an ROH guy like Danielson or McGuinness. In retrospect, I can understand why Misawa opted instead to work with his own guys - he knew he could trust them to protect him in the ring and deliver a great match. While the prospect of a Danielson vs. Misawa dream match sounds cool in theory, I think the reality is that this tag bout was the best possible match Misawa was going to have at the time."

[6.0] "This is a bit hard to rate. The work was all solid, but ultimately this felt like a house show match that largely got by on atmosphere and spectacle. It's worth checking out for the sake of novelty, but honestly it's not the most exciting match you'll ever see. It felt like it wasn't really going anywhere for pretty long periods of time and a lot of it just came across as padding. I also really hate it when they telegraph these time limit draw finishes by randomly having the ring announcer give updates on how much time has expired when that otherwise never happens. It didn't even really build to a very exciting climax, as the time expired pretty abruptly when nothing in particular was happening. I feel like I'm being slightly lenient even giving this a 6.0 to be honest."
