[3.0] "Never been a fan of the casino battle royales, they just never work for me and i'm actually a fan of Lio Rush but him being the joker added nothing to the match. Matt Hardy was in the match far too long and there was far too much sloppiness in the match for it to be fun."
[6.0] "I always love battle royals, though it appears I'm in the minority with that. The Casino Battle Royal is a strange concept and hard to follow at times if you don't know who the participants are. This one was just ok, nothing special."

[4.0] "When I went to rate this, I thought it was the tag battle royal from Revolution. When I realized it was not that one, and was in fact a different match, it dawned on me how boring and forgettable this was. AEW still can't do battle royals, and this one is no exception. Max's mic messing up in the beginning was funny, and Jungle vs Christian at the end was fun. Oh and Lio debuted and was eliminated almost immediately. Man, sometimes I hate this company."
[6.0] "I was very happy to see Jungle Boy win the battle royale . He truly deserves it and they made a star this night . The save with JB swinging in from the ring post into the ring was dope . HFO worked as a unit , only story I could find here . Hobbs had a good showing but was eliminated way too early . Lio had a few good minutes too . Absence of drama mainly holds this down and it required it very desperately . Most guys got eliminated way too early such as Matt Sydal , Powerhouse Hobbs , Max Caster and Dustin. Also why could not we have the Lucha Bros or Butcher and the Blade . Just why ? . Great booking choice though .Watchable I guess . ***1/4"

Action is too fast and half the time the moves are being done randomly to pass the time and then a flurry of bodies enter the ring. Not fun. The final sequence also wasn't something marvelous like Revolution's casino BR so this one didn't even have that going for it. Its only redeemable factor is its result."
[4.0] "AEW only does four PPVs a year and they always through a battle royale on to get the roster some time but man is it a momentum killer for the show. There's just not enough interesting stuff to do with people who are left out of the main feuds to justify the time these get. In this case, you basically wait twenty minutes to get a mild surprise in Lio Rush and a nice little moment for Jungle Boy."
[4.0] "AEW Battle Royales have just never hit for me and this was no different. Nothing outright bad but these matches have never produced someone who has won the championship, let alone seems like they have a shot at it, so it all seems perfunctory."
[5.0] "The Jungle Boy win was a nice moment, and Christian giving him the rub was really cool, but it's hard to get excited about yet another Jungle Boy feature match he's clearly going to lose."
[6.0] "All right battle royale, but i was not expecting jungle boy to be the winner. It should have been Lio rush as he was a surprise or some other young dude who they can really rely on like will hobbs, etc. The moment between Christian and matt was also good and i do like the fact that everyone got their entrance. 6 out of 10."
[4.0] "It's hard to deliver a good battle royale match and this one was no different - rather bad. It was good to see Lio Rush, but they completely buried him. He didn't show much there. The final result was a huge surprise for me. I expected Christian to win, not the Jungle Boy..."
[5.0] "Before we reached the final two, it was a mess. Even Lio Rush's debut couldn't save it. It was a collection of clumsy executions and terrible timings. Moreover, the rules were confusing. I do like the last few mins of the match. **1/2"
[6.0] "Fun match, of course, loved the pops for Pentagon, I feel overall people enjoyed the surprise but thought it would be bigger. I was fine with it."
[6.0] "Most of this match was really a 4 or 5/10 but the last few minutes and the booking of it really kicked it up a couple notches. I especially liked the long term booking here with Jungle Boy always being in the final group in every battle royal they've had, but never quite doing it. Then when everyone thought Christian was the obvious choice they gave him the win. Definitely the right choice giving him the win too seeing how over he was with the crowd."
[7.0] "Ok match, solid suprise with Lio Rush coming in as the joker. Nothing too special but the ending sequence between Christian and Jungle Boy was a lot of fun and it was a fun swerve since everyone thought it was gonna be Christian. Jungle Boy swinging around the ringpost fit him so well and it was such a great spot."
[2.0] "I usually enjoy any Casino Battle Royal gimmick that AEW does but this one felt rushed. Lio Rush felt like he was sloppy, Everything just felt filler and usually they don't feel this way. Christian and Jungle Boy in the final two felt like a joust between two talents. So the finish was thrilling but the match was a mess that even the crowd couldn't save. "Evil Uno has a fan club""
[7.0] "People are harsh on the CBR. That was very fun. Some streches here and here but it was globally pretty correct. Crowd's cheering everybody was helpful to make the match better otherwise. The match was also a good way to continuing some stories. That final between Christan Cage and Jungle Boy had boosted the global opinon of the match in fact. Jungle Boy's saving from elimination has made me jump out of my seat. What a star he is already."
[4.0] "Not a good match. Some good spots there. But hey, what can you do in a battle royale where it is hard to call the match up. I was really getting asleep on the match, just waiting for a next cluster of entrants and then there. But at the last 5 minutes, the match is finally giving some life with amazing elimination avoidance by the Private Party, etc. Christian shows a little sloppiness in the match but good thing Jungle Boy getting a hang of it. Overall, it is not a fine match to me but there are some good spots there that gives us an awe at least. **3/4"
[6.0] "The ending with Cage and JB definitely boosted this, as there weren't too many other moments to remember. I liked the Lio Rush inclusion, but his spots are so choreographed and didn't land 100% smoothly."
[5.0] "This was the weakest battle royal AEW has done. Normally their BRs are quite good, but this felt rushed and a pure filler in a PPV to get the low and mid card guys on the card. Still there was some story spots in it with multiple feuds getting continued. In the end it was the HFO vs Christian, Jungle Boy and the surprise Lio Rush who sadly botched his moves with Matt Hardy. In the end this match was a tool to give Jungle Boy another notable win and his first title challenge in AEW. This is a really good way to slowly build him up. Sadly, the BR wasn't that good outside of the finish. 5/10"
[7.0] "Really good battle royal! Some of the stuff early on was pretty generic, just your standard-issue bland battle royal action, but once it got to the 3rd or 4th suit it got really good. I haven't been huge on HFO so far but their triple team strategy worked great here, with Private Party filling their role as silly stooges so well and Hardy acting as the manipulative leader very well. I wasn't huge on Lio Rush being the joker but this really made him look like a star, I'm glad he got such a great reception. Then the closing sequence between Christian Cage and Jungle Boy was legendary, such a star-making performance for Jungle Boy with an unexpected result. Can't wait to see Jungle Boy take on Kenny or whoever wins the world title match later. ***1/4+"
[5.0] "Even after heavy streamlining and clarification, the Casino Battle Royal stipulation continues to be a lot of faff and admin for what is, essentially, a wonky Rumble clone. I will say it a hundred times: let the entrances just function like a 21-man Rumble, no arbitrary groupings that serve no actual purpose, and find some other way to make the match distinct. Action-wise, it was a servicable enough battle royal. Very messy, and some odd booking in places (most egregiously the surprise mystery entrant Lio Rush barely even getting his spots in before being unceremoniously eliminated), but a decent bit of dumb fun. The mini-match at the end between Christian and Jungle Boy was what really elevated this beyond being decent but uninspired filler, and made it into something that better justified its existence on the card. Hard to rate, given that it felt like a 4/10 match with a 2/10 stipulation that built to a 7/10 finish, but I think it all adds up into something far away from being must-see, but pretty comfortably above average for a match of its kind."
[4.0] "AEW need to just forget the battle royales. They're never interesting save for the very end, which you could just make the match a fatal four way or something and cut it down half the time and just go straight to the good stuff."
[6.0] "This was fine and there were some decent moments. Sometimes it felt a little rushed though with the eliminations. Christian vs Matt Hardy was a cool moment and Jungle Boy winning was a great moment as well. Lio Rush as the Joker was a good surprised and really brought up the match at the end. It started and ended fine but the middle portions dragged a little. A fine match but inconsistent match overall."
[7.0] "What an emotional moment for Jungle Boy. He's definitely one of the Top Babyfaces of AEW, he can get the audience in his pocket super easily, and he richly deserves this win. Well, let's face it, he'll never beat Kenny Omega, because Kenny Omega. And I'm not forgetting to mention Lio Rush's debut, hoping it goes further than a mere appearance of less than 5 minutes."
[8.0] "Probably the best CBR yet and that is largely due to the final stretch with Christian and Jungle Boy. They tore it down and set up a singles match I really want to see down the road. This match also set up some various midcard feuds that could be good for TV. All in all, a really good Rumble with a great surprise winner. ****"
[8.0] "Don't get low ratings here. The final five minutes were just terrific with Christian and Jungle Boy vs. the HFO. Lio Rush was a great surprise, and the final sequence with Christian and Jungle Boy on the apron was one of a kind. I popped hard in my living room! I never do that!"
[4.0] "Another AEW Battle Royale which sucked momentum from the card and sent the show downward. It was marginally entertaining but the cameras missed so much. I don't know if the cameras or commentators even drew attention to the fact that Christian and Hobbs were off somewhere until they returned. Most guys in this didn't really do anything other than get dumped over the ropes."
[6.0] "This was a basic, run-of-the-mill battle royale that perfectly served its purpose to prop up Jungle Boy, who is just blowing up as a star right now."
[6.0] "This was enjoyable. Seen better battle royals/rumbles for sure. I did like how easy it was to throw people out. It kept the pace and flow up more."
[6.0] "Jungle Boy saved this match for me. Though it was far from an exciting affair, with some odd choices in eliminations and time allocated to certain workers, Jungle Boy's win and the celebrations that ensued made this match enjoyable. If only it led to a grander match for him than a Dynamite main event he is certain to lose."
[5.0] "This was a rather weak Battle Royal in my opinion, though Battle Royals are always fun. Many entrants just felt like bodies and weren't really showcased that they were a big deal. Granted, most of them weren't big deals, but a spotlight should've been placed on a few more to not make it feel like a bunch of jobbers. The Joker was a little underwhelming for me personally, but I'm sure many people will be hyped. Where this match shined though, for me, was the final 3. It was pretty interesting and fun at that point, but it was kind of a slog getting there."
[10.0] "I thought this was awesome. Battle Royals are an acquired taste so it won't hit for everyone, but I thought the pacing was better than usual, the action was a lot smoother than usual and some of the performances were top notch. Christian was strong from the get go, Matt Hardy and Private Party did well, it was great to see Lio Rush and Powerhouse Hobbs was awesome; his spinebuster on Isiah Kassidy (which Kassidy sold wonderfully with that high pitched scream) got me out of my seat and was a highlight of the show. Most importantly they gave a huge rub to Jungle Boy by having him beat Christian. I think we all thought it be the other way around, but AEW read the room correctly and made Jungle Boy come off as a star with the big win here (and he was similarly great here like he was in the Tag Battle Royal back in March). This wasn't on the same level as some of the other great matches on this show but it was a huge hit for me."
[9.0] "So many fun creative spots throughout this match. Most everyone got a chance to shine & have a moment. Penta was OVER as hell. Christian giving respect to Jungle Boy at the end and the crowd response to that was so overwhelming emotional I tear'd up at the response Jungle Boy got. This is how you book that type of exchange. If this was WWE they would of had Christian win and steal the star making moment away from the younger talent. This singehandedly sums up why AEW is the far superior company to the dead end that is WWE. This is gonna be one of those moments they replay over and over for years to come when referencing Jungle Boys career highlights."
[4.0] "it was way too long and only saved by the ending between christian and jungle boy being good, but the rest of the match was just so long with nothing interesting really happening, I liked Lio Rush debuting as I'm a fan of his, but they didn't really give a great first impression of him, with him only lasting a couple of minutes and likely heading into a feud with Matt Hardy, not something I particuarly care to see, but on the positive side was Jungle Boy picking up the win, and while I don't think anyone expects him to win the title anytime soon its a step in the right direction for him (**)"
[6.0] "The match wasn't that exciting, but the ending sequance just saved everything for me. They had the right winner and it was unexpected as hell, till the last second I thought they are giving the match to Christian. The Joker entry was also a pleasant surprice"
