This was my first look of AJZ and although the character seems a bit over used by almost everyone , he played a good cocky smug and arrogant heel against a passionate fighter in Clark Connors . It was hard hitting as well , the way AJZ hits those pop up forearms is pretty cool in my opinion . It had good flow and synchrony and the match ending with Clark nailing the spear which looked very vicious and then the back suplex for the win . More of a showcase match and it was the first time Clark was competing after graduating from the young lions class and so it was great to see him become his own man . ***1/4 |
