They did do something unique here as a box full of salt was introduced and the salt was literally poured onto Thumbtack Jack, which I'm sure hurt a lot. He got his revenge later as when Drake Younger had him in a Figure Four Leg Lock, Jack took some salt and threw it in his face. Jack brachte auch eine Barbed Wire Cross mit das auch eingesetzt wurde und auch der Razorblade Chair kam wieder zum Einsatz. Jacks Knie musste auch wieder sehr leiden war er auch ausgeruscht und dann nahm Drake ihn in einem Bared Wire Figure 4 Leglock. Nur zwei der zig Highlights. Es ist wieder so ein Match wo ich nur Punkte geben kann. Hier gibt es wieder die volle Punktzahl. Ein weiterer kranker Klassiker aus der wXw Vergangenheit. |

Ich muss sagen das ich dieses No Ropes Barbed Wire auf eine stufe mit dem Saw Death Match stellen würde... Vielleicht sogar eine stufe drüber da die Kameraführung und die Crowd/Atmosphäre besser war. Die eingebauten "Flashbacks" wie den Razorblade stuhl oder den von TJ angesetzten Michinoku driver der in einen Death Valley Driver durch den Tisch gekontert wird fand ich wirklich super. Ansonsten gab es natürlich das Barbed Wire als Waffe Nr. 1! Eine harte aktion war beispielsweise noch der Reverse Suplex in den Draht... Ein sehr hartes aber gleichzeitig auch grandioses Match! |

Sie bauen sowohl auf ihr SAW-DM, als auch auf TJs Charakter auf, was wirklich richtig stark gemacht ist. Bestes seit Jahren? Nicht unbedingt, aber eines der besten auf alle Fälle, 10 Punkte. |

Doch beide zeigen, dass sie über das Deathmatch-typische Gedöns mehr können. Wir sehen ansatzweises Selling und eine Story (auch wenn sich das mit dem SAW-Chair mir nicht erschließen wollte). Dass man auf einmal einen blutüberströmten TJ sein Knie sellen sieht, ist schon fast Comedy und schien auch nur Mittel zum Zweck für die nächste Aktion zu sein. Schlussendlich ein gutes Deathmatch. |
