Christy Hemme, Heidenreich & Road Warrior Animal vs. Melina, Mercury & Nitro

[6.0] "Did exactly what it needed to do, hyped up the crowd, didn't go too long. Was simple and effective. Just a fun match overall with a happy ending. And even happier with that shot of Melina lol."

[6.0] "This match rules. The match is built around Animal's shoulder and so MNM do some good work on the should of Animal. Animal is bumping his ass off for MNM. Once Animal gets a chance to get back into this, Melina makes the tag in to stop Animal but Animal catches her. Animal tags in Christy who gets some revenge on Melina for the attack she sustained on Smackdown. Christy and Melina's brief part of the match might not been the smoothest mechanivally but the crowd was with it and it still looked decent. Chirsty hits a Doomsday on Melina and scores the win. ***"

[5.0] "Given some of the names involved in this, this is about as good as you're going to get. I will say, MNM bump really well and you could tell that Nitro/Morrison was eventually going to do big things. Melina and Christy had a fun little catfight but Christy just really struggled in the ring, but I don't blame her for trying."

[4.0] "This was a subpar tag match that didn't need to be mixed. Almost the entire match was a boring attack on animal Heidenreich was barely in, and Christy/Melina only got in for the finale. And Melina wasn't exactly a good worker at this point. Just really dull and forgettable. Not an unacceptable match, but pretty poor."

[5.0] "I'm not a fan of the babyface team, but at least they structured the whole thing well to the point where there wasn't anything offensive and it was alright to watch for the most part. The crowd was into it, they limited Christy's involvement to the minimum and MNM looked fantastically once more."

[4.0] "The crowd enjoyed this for what it was, and it ended up being a reasonable way to start off the show for that reason, but goodness me was the wrestling pretty awful for the most part, outside of when Mercury and Nitro were carrying things. Hemme was trying very hard out there, but she was not ready for prime time when it came to the in-ring yet and we were lucky that no one got seriously hurt out there"

[4.0] "They got about six minutes for this opening match. Animal had a taped up shoulder so Mercury and Nitro targeted it. The women finished the match, with Hemme getting to do the doomsday device on Melina. For an opener this was okay but it was forgettable."

[5.0] "A five is fair for this match as it wasn't a great match but moved quickly enough to pop the crowd early in the show"

[5.0] "This ended up being better than their standard tag match with the addition of the women keeping things fresh"

[5.0] "Crowd was hot for the new road warriors and the action was fine for what it was. Ok opener for the show."

[5.0] "The match was fun enough to pop the crowd even if the stuff involving the women was wretched. A good match to get the crowd going for an opener."

[5.0] "Decent opener. Mercury and Animal were good in this. Felt Nitro didn't do much and I really don't like Heidenreich's strikes. I thought the women's part was the dreads but Hemme did a good doomsday device."
