Mike Sanders vs. The Cat

[1.0] "Honestly it was not the top 5 worst wrestling matches in the history. Was it bad? Of course it was. The ending was a nonsense but they worked , , normally""

[0.0] "I am confident that we learned way back in 1984 that worked boxing matches were a terrible idea. It turns out that making it into a kickboxing match doesn't do anything to help that, and it only gets worse when you have terrible WCW2000 production values, including things like mistimed bells throwing the whole thing off and poorly explained "sudden death overtime" or whatever that was supposed to be at the end. The commentary was also particularly awful. I liked Mark Madden taking about an hour to call the cartwheel kick, with the kind of delayed reaction that would get anyone in a real sport fired."

[0.0] "This is worked boxing and MMA in wrestling at it's all time worst ever, everything about it is just atrocious, shows that there has never been a good version of boxing and MMA in wrestling and many promotions would keep doing in the years since which is just dumb."

[0.0] "I knew I was falling out of favor towards WCW as soon as The Cat started to get more and more TV time. I HATED when he was on, and all of his matches are dumpster water. This match is no exception."

[0.0] "This is a worked kickboxing match. Shit the bed. This is awful. Why am I watching this? I don't blame them, I blame me. Why?"

[0.0] "This was a horrible attempt at what might have been Kickboxing, although it was mainly punches and Cat doing his regular kicks. It's Cat all the way until outside interference, but even that isn't the finish, as dumbass Cat gets counted out going after who attacked him. Why couldn't this have been a regular match? ! it surely would have been better than this."

[0.0] "Oh good, a worked shootfight, these are never terrible... The Cat was never much good, and I can't think of anything memorable Mike Sanders ever did. Utterly pointless."

[0.0] "Come on. I can't think of a worked shootfight that has ever been good. Worked boxing, worked MMA, and now worked kickboxing join the ranks of horrible content. Bad idea, bad execution. I don't know who wanted to see Mike Sanders on WCW TV on such a regular basis, but I don't think they're mentally all there. Cat unrealistically jiving about kind of ruins the concept of having an imitation shootfight. Shane Douglas shows up to cheat, a "saved by the bell" moment that is timed like garbage so the longest 9-count ever happens, and then Cat gets himself counted out for no reason. Sanders looks like a tool but wins anyway. Awful."

[0.0] "This was so bad. So so so so so bad. One of the absolute worst ? matches? on any PPV in the history of professional wrestling. I am embarrassed for this match. I would be more embarrassed for them if they didn? t do it to themselves. God, there were some truly awful moments the last few years of WCW."

[0.0] "Tremendously awful stuff here, it's a contest of who can be more insufferable in a match that seems specifically designed to benefit no one, especially the fans."

[0.0] "I came into this hoping for a little bit of campy entertainment but unfortunately this was just horrific all around. This is absoloutely not a match that fits into the "so bad it's good" category. Absolutely terrible stuff with no redeeming qualities."
