[7.0] "Good match but wasn't overly impressed, the previous match outshone it in my opinion. Lots of the match sort of dragged for me, but I will say I thought the ending was pretty badass. Sure Murakami is kinda cheesy but the closing stretch with Marufuji I loved, this Yakuza boss looking guy bleeding and grinning as he gets his ass beat. Good stuff. ***1/2"
[8.0] "Best match on the show. Strange things happened at times, and by strange things I mean all the moments with Murakami, but it was this factor that made the match so much fun. It seems to me that this is the perfect moment for Marufuji to mentally prepare for Muto, meeting in a match with a similar psycho who will look at him with dead eyes and try to destroy him both physically and mentally, compounding it all with a bloody face. For the first time in a long time, I enjoyed watching Naomichi as a character, and he didn't look robotic, thanks to Kazunari's efforts. Sugiura and Mochizuki also contributed and were interesting. Masaaki caused an annoying hitch in the final part of the match, but even so, the program turned out to be very, very cool (****)."
[8.0] "Really, really enjoyed this more than I expected to. I don't know what the kayfabe beef is between Marufuji and Murakami but their exchanges were the best part of the match. Murakami is so weird and cartoonish to watch, but so entertaining. The blood added alot."
[7.0] "This is for me the second best match of the show but it could have been the best if Murakami was not here. He has very cringe facial expressions in his exchanges with Marufuji, who were good by the way except the last Bicycle Kick from Marufuji that was impactless. Sugiura and Mochizuki had some great exchanges, Mochizuki worked well Sugiura's leg and the GHC National champion had a great selling. I really want a match for the title between these two. ***1/2"
