Isami Kodaka vs. Toshiyuki Sakuda

[8.0] "Really solid match and probably the one that made me watch Toshiyuki Sakuda closely. I love Isami Kodaka's deathmatches because he manages to mix violent stuff with actual pro wrestling and it looks so organic; in this match Sakuda almost reminded me of younger Isami with his levels of craziness and creativity, which was reflected in a story too. Nice usage of scaffold. ****1/4"

[7.0] "This is legitimately a very solid match. I wasn't a big fan of the brawling about on the scaffold to start things off, usually I feel like the scaffold should be built to but maybe that's a little nitpicky. This was very fun though, Sakuda's wild disregard for his own body makes any of his big matches a must watch. Kodaka spiking Sakuda on the underside of the scaffold was a fun spot. ***3/4"
