Orton looked like he was having fun getting to work with Riddle, and he seems reasonably motivated than usual which I always love to see. Enjoyable back and forth and the sudden finish was unique too. [***1/2]"
[6.0] "Ist tatsächlich dann sogar das MOTN des heutigen Abends, was Riddle und Orton uns heute zeigen. Die Partie hat zwar an sich wenig Story, allerdings haben die beide doch eine ganz gute Chemie miteinander, sodass das Ganze dann auch recht ansehlich ist. Die Schlussphase ist gut und der Sieg für Riddle für mich doch eine dicke Überraschung."
[7.0] "This was so damn cool, and yet it's a match I didn't think I needed until it happened, now I want more because I loved it. The match ruled and it was particularly smooth and rhythmic, which is something to be noted for a Randy Orton match in 2021. Riddle is a perfect opponent for him, the viper said on Twitter that Riddle impressed him and that he really enjoyed working with him, which is not surprising given the content they offered together here. Randy seemed motivated and he really made Riddle shine with solid heel-work as he knows how, he made Riddle's win and comebacks even more effective and this was a blast to watch. I think the rivalry between the two of them will continue and we will have better matches between these two."
[7.0] "Spaßiges Match, welches hier durchaus klickt und unterstreicht, wie gut die Beiden arbeiten können. Gutes Hin und Her, welches das Finish durchaus passend vorbereitet."
[6.0] "It was an okay match, I expected better honestly even if the action is solid, it never really invested me. Not a fan of the finish at all, Orton wasn't very in his match so it was dtisurbing to see Riddle doing almost everything. **3/4"
[7.0] "I didn't expect Riddle to beat Orton so that was interesting. This was a good match with Riddle looking very intelligent as he tried to keep Orton dormant with various submissions. The finish was pretty sudden so there is possibility for a feud later on!"
[7.0] "Very good match, the match of the show to me. Surprisingly good match and surprise victory for Riddle over Orton. Hey, Riddle has been giving us very good matches these last weeks, one of the few that is nice to see on this show without getting bored or disappointed."
[6.0] "Surprisingly decent match here. So refreshing to have a clean finish on TV involving guys that aren't completely meaningless. Given some more time at a PPV this could be very good. ***1/4"
[7.0] "Really good match, Riddle did a good job using his submision style and the strikes with nicks and slaps, also good work by Orton selling the attacks of Riddle and pushing him to the main event stage. 3. 5*"
[7.0] "Very big surprise for this match. I expected Riddle to lose in a few minutes, but no. He defended himself very well, and the way he countered the RKO was pretty impressive, I don't remember seeing anything like that before. Anyway, a win that I think is deserved, and probably the biggest win of his career."
[8.0] "Match of the night on a very poor episode of RAW. This felt unique, and these guys meshed really well. I really liked the story, Orton demanding respect but in doing so, underestimating Riddle. There were a couple of great sequences and spots, in particular, I liked the sleeper hold sequence. I left this match excited to see what's next, especially with Riddle (hopefully not 84 rematches though)."
[7.0] "Randy Orton beat The Fiend at WrestleMania, yet here he is already losing to Riddle, and not entirely definitively either. Some good stuff between them before the finish though, Riddle is a very good in-ring worker, problem is Vince likes his skits too much."
[8.0] "This was very solid. These two have pretty good chemistry and their respective styles mesh very well. Got plenty of time and had a surprising finish. Didn't expect Riddle to win this. However, if Orton was gonna just go back to being a jobber to the rising stars, there was literally no reason for him to go over Wyatt at Mania. Still, this was good and hope this leads to better things for Riddle."
