Austin Theory, Candice LeRae, Indi Hartwell & Johnny Gargano vs. Bronson Reed, Dexter Lumis, Ember Moon & Shotzi Blackheart

[9.0] "This is just such a great tag team match and its incredibly fun to watch, the comedy was well and the moves were great,"

[8.0] "It's a great match with superb wrestlers and a lot of comedy moments with Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis. This match is not about a 5 star wrestling but about entertainment and I really enjoyed it. ****1/4"

[8.0] "Insanely fun 8-man tag match. Every person brought something unique and we just had an exhilarating 10 minute sprint. The InDex stuff was funny aswell."

[6.0] "This was a very entertaining and good comedy match which mainly revolved around the romance of INDEX and Indi trying to get the attention and a moment with Dexter. Johnny and Candice served as the protective parents making every attempt of Indi unsuccessful . I also liked how this match was not only men beat up men and women beat up women but we got some offense where the opposite gender was attacked like Shotzi and Ember assaulting Gargano and Ember even nailing a tope on him . Candice also hit her tope into a DDT on Lumis. Reed served as a threat to the way due to his humungous size and so Theory , Gargano and Candice worked as one unit to take the big man down as shown in the ending sequence and mid match where Candice fails to hit a cross body on Reed who is unaffected even in the slightest . Reed also with some good power moves such as the double samoan drop . The in ring quality was not too captivating but the comedy substance carried the match . They tried something new in the main event and it had the right direction and flow . I gave Yano/Hiromu a 3. 75 and Yano/ZSJ a 3. 5 so it is fitting enough to give this a ***1/4."

[8.0] "Fun main events like this are great to see every now and then. I love how NXT gives us this kind of diversity and unpredictability in the programming."

[4.0] "Why does Indi Hartwell want to have sex with Dexter Lumis? This totally ruined the whole match which apart from that, was decent."

"As a wrestling match, it wasn't great, but it was an awesome comedy match. I hate Lumis and Hartwell as wrestlers but their storyline and their spots in the match were hilarious."

[5.0] "The match was OK. There was a lot of action of all sort. However, the spot with Indi Hartwell and Dexter was ridiculous. Dexter was acting like a robot, not a living human being. This was so stupid. All of a sudden he left the ring with Indi in his arms and took her backstage. I wonder what happened later. I guess I'll wait till next week to hear the explanation of this great mystery..."

[8.0] "A fun and wild match with some hilarious moments. The parts with Indi and Lumis stole the show. It had a house show feel to it and that's why I loved it."

"That Dexter Lumis/Indi Hartwell stuff was so stupid but I loved every minute of it. This hit the same part of my monkey brain that the Broken Hardy stuff did when it started."

[8.0] "This was a really well-wrestled comedy match. This was all about the wackiness of The Way, with a specific highlight on their relationship with Dexter Lumis. It seemed like every wrestler interacted with each of their opponents to funny results. Lumis-Indi and Bronson-Candice were specific highlights, but literally everything clicked here. One of the most fun matches in recent memory."

[5.0] "Felt almost incoherent by the end. Don't understand the Bronson Reed push, but I like Shotzi and Ember together and I loved the comedic performance from Candice."

[7.0] "Very fun main event that had a lot of interlocking elements. Some comedic spots that worked out great and I'm in on Dexter Lumis' shtick."

[8.0] "This was a really fun match to cap off the show and a good contrast the the usual serious NXT main events, it had cool spots and some comedy mixed in as well with The Way. All the wrestlers had good chemistry with each other and actually got to work together with the whole mixed tag thing, you could tell they were having a great time out there."

[8.0] "S Rank on the short list of good mixed-tag matches. Along with Emma & Santino versus Fandango & Summer Rae, this was one of the more clever comedies produced by the WWE."

[7.0] "One of the best Mixed Tag Team Match of WWE ever. Very funny and entertaining main event. Need to see what happens between Hartwell and Lumis ofc."

[7.0] "It was a fun main event. Austin Theory bumped everywhere for everyone and it was pretty cool. Comedy was fine for me, made me smile, but a bit less of it would have serve the match better. Ember Moon's really great since she came back in NXT."

[5.0] "I don't understand why so much high ratings. This match is based mostly on Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell, and the character work of both is awful. I really don't like what's bringing Lumis' character. Atleast the finish was good, but this is really not what I expect for an NXT main event. **1/2"

[7.0] "Although not true intergender wrestling, at least the female wrestlers got to hit moves on the male wrestlers in this match, and then Indi Hartwell did a whole other kind of hitting on Dexter Lumis. Pure fun spots all the way through, and the image of Candice LeRae trying to superplex Bronson Reed took me back a few years to when I saw her try to do that to Dave Mastiff. And Johnny Gargano wears a headband now, upping his already high obnoxious levels."

[7.0] "This was a very good main event, my favorite match on the show. It was chaotic (in a good way) and we got some great action from the beginning to the end, it was dynamic and it was great to watch. I'm so fucking happy that those stupid mixed rules weren't respected and we got to see Candice jumping on Reed, Shotzi & Ember tapping Gargano and a lot of stuff like that. The finishing stretch with Reed was insane, I loved Moon's Eclipse on Gargano which was absolutely beautiful. I also really liked the angle with Indi and Lumis, it's all well written and there's an idea. A main event with good action and intrigue, this was great."
