[7.0] "This was very good, but there were better matches on the show. Dickinson did a great job working King's leg, but he forgot to sell it for long periods of time."
[7.0] "It started off very basic and not main event niche . It did get the kick start after Dickinson focused his eyes on working the knee of Brody and he did a marvelous job through some good technical work and those dragon screws looked great . He wanted to damage the base of Brody to hamper his movement and effectiveness of offense . Brody however failed to sell the knee much , only thing I remember is him trying to slap some feeling into the knee before running the ropes . It was a very hard hitting battle with stiff exchanges especially from Dickinson . That elbow during the home stretch was savage. Brody also connected with some good looking hard elbows to the face of Dickinson. The match ended when Dickinson met the clubbing lariat of Brody that turned him inside out . I would also like to add that the german by Chris on Brody was a fantastic display of the freakish strength of Chris. Also, the pile driver by Brody was savage. Still a good main event nonetheless despite its minor flaws . It was a good slug fest with one trying to beat the other to their pulp. ***3/4."
[6.0] "The first third of this match was really promising, but then it started to sag until it reached an underwhelming conclusion. Chris Dickinson was on fire, with fierce strikes and some great, convincing work on Brody King's legs. The latter, on the other hand, did not deliver one of his best performances: he actually did sell Dickinson's moves very well for some time, but couldn't find an opening to fight back and ended up looking like a chump - that is, until he had an out of nowhere comeback in which he completely stopped selling the pain on his leg and beat Dickinson with a bunch of strikes and power moves. When matches are structured like this, with little or no back and forth, they always feel somewhat unnatural, as if the designated winner has to win just because. Ultimately, what could've been the best match in the night was really hold back. It wasn't a bad match, mind you, but mostly because of Chris Dickinson's aggressive, legit looking performance."
[6.0] "This was good but far from the match of the night to me. I'd prefer Connors/Rush and Narita/Lawlor over this. I just do not see what a lot of people seem to see in King. He's good but not great to me. Maybe he will prove me wrong as this tournament goes on. Dickinson is very fun as always."
[7.0] "A nice bout, that quite protected Dickinson despite the loss. Could protect more, but not bad indeed. It was a very interesting shock between two brutes, with a very nice finish. King is consolidating himself as one of the heaviest strikers today, as Dickinson is getting better and better as a technical wrestler."
[7.0] "Very good main event, two big mens giving some very intense strikes to each other. This is what I expecting from this match and I didn't got disappointed. The finish is very good to me, Dickinson was very impressive in this sequence. ***1/2"
[8.0] "This was a very good main event, a match surrounded by a war feeling and performed with great intensity. This was a masterclass from Dickinson as always, he did a very good job on King's leg and he made some powerful moves, this guy is so damn good it's crazy. As for Brody King, I liked his performance overall but the fact that he forgot to sell his leg at times is something that bothered me. It doesn't spoil my enthusiasm for this match that I found excellent, they beat the crap out of each other and it was captivating to watch. It wasn't too long or too short, and the final sprint was impressive. I wish Dickinson would have won here but anyway, this match ruled."
