[7.0] "A bit slow for the first 10 minutes but ultimately a really good match featuring the best multi-man tag talent AJPW had. Kobashi, Misawa, and Kawada provided the highest of the high points in this match, as they'd suddenly unleash a burst of fiery energy when going after one of their opponents, allowing them to show off their fantastic natural charisma and impactful offence. Kobashi and Kawada, especially, had some incredibly hype interactions. The other 3 men in the match also deserve praise for playing their unique roles extremely well. Fuchi wonderfully utilised his nasty grappling and submissions, providing a real problem for the opposing team. Taue was the heartless monster he always is, never being afraid to break a few rules in order to get his team the upper hand. Kikuchi was the outstanding underdog babyface he always is, always showing heart no matter how bleak his chances of survival were. ***1/2"
[7.0] "This was really good. The magic in Kobashi v Kawada exchanges was plentiful. Kikuchi, as per usual, was great at working from beneath and using the crowd to his advantage. There was some cool moments where Fuchi was torturing Kobashi? s knee and Taue was Taue getting booed again (it? s 1991 all over again for him). ***1/2"
[5.0] "This was fine match but it wasn't a great one. Kikuchi took his traditional beating, getting stretched seven ways from Sunday by Fuchi and also getting dumped onto a ringside table by Taue. The most heated part of the match was Kobashi and Kawada squaring off and laying into each other, building up to their big singles match at the end of the tour."
