Hardcore Holly vs. Kurt Angle

[8.0] "This was a surprise banger of a match. I'm shocked that they gave Holly such a (relatively) long, competitive match with a star like Angle. Of course, this means they were doing a terrible job with booking Angle when the show desperately needed main event faces. Putting all that aside, this was such a great match; made me wonder what the two could do if given 20 mins on a PPV. The post match beatdown by Holly was well done, if again, booking incompetence."

[9.0] "Consistent bangers non stop from Hardcore Holly and Kurt Angle, just great technical wrestling always from peak angle and the tough and near shoot style of Holly just meshed so well together with Kurt like it's just perfection. Both goated men!"

[7.0] "Hardcore is really over and Kurt is doing a great job with his smarmy heel behavior. Match was very good technically and the ending was good storytelling."

[6.0] "Nice mesh of styles. Holly was always solid in the ring and Angle is without question one of the best ever. Add in the extra story of Angle previously injuring Holly and you have a great little TV match. Would have liked to have seen a feud between the two."
