[5.0] "The NWA is holding its first show in 14 months, Trevor Murdoch has taken the National Championship from Aaron Stevens, and his first opponent is Chris Adonis. Perhaps this is one of my least favorite matches of Trevor that I saw during his run in the NWA, and the match is frankly weak, literally nothing happened between the wrestlers for most of the time. On the other hand, the last two minutes were pretty intense, and I liked Murdoch's comeback, as well as the way he won. The segment after the match is satisfactory (**3/4)."

[6.0] "This match was good for what it was. It just wasn't that interesting with no build up but post match Adonis did attack Murdoch so maybe they'll have an interesting program."

[5.0] "Im vorletzten Slot auf der Card ein Duell der WWE Midcarder, die gegen Mitte bis Ende der 2000er von WWE ein wenig verschwendet worden: Chris Masters vs. Trevor Murdoch. Sie beginnen solide mit netten Lock-Ups und gut durchgeführten Headlock-Sequenzen, in denen Murdoch richtig schön zeigen kann, was er drauf hat. Dazu ein wenig Trashtalk und ein paar Stand-Offs und schon ist schön was an Heat drin. Murdoch macht einen Fehler, Masters übernimmt die Kontrolle, zeigt nette Heel Aktionen, während die Announcer Masters Finisher over bringen. Murdoch bringt dann ein simples, aber gutes, Comeback, entkommt dem Masterlock und kann via Roll-Up gewinnen. So ein simples Match, aber vollkommen solide (**œ)."

[5.0] "Por match, I think Murdoch want to do somethings but Adonis is very bad, he only could give a good match with the help of a very good wrestlers ir if his a good tecnichial. **1/2"

[6.0] "It was a cool title match, Murdoch did a good work and Adonis gave him a good opposition, I'm just not a fan of the Roll Up finish because Murdoch wants to beat someone just arrived in NWA, to put him at his place. ***1/4"

[6.0] "Wieder ist es die klare Rollenverteilung, die als gute Basis für das Match funktioniert. Murdoch macht das gut, Adonis schaltet nicht unbedingt in den letzten Gang seiner Arbeit, aber dennoch ist das Zusammenspiel passend und erzeugt insgesamt einen kompakten und ordentlichen Eindruck."
