[7.0] "Good match with an engaging layout and performances. While a few spots are mishandled, every participant steps up to their role. The final exchange with the two moonsaults by the winning team is an electric one and the hot crowd doesn't hurt. [7.5/10]"
[7.0] "Solid match. Ace looks better here than I was expecting, though I've been judging him around this time from that September tag match where he was in the mix with three Pillars. He's better here, since Black and Deaton are more in his element, and he even does some pretty good matwork at the beginning. As the previous inmate has said, Black's athleticism impresses here, and I'd like to see some more of him myself. (Handspring to standing moonsault from a gaijin heel in 1991 AJPW? ) The payoff for the knee work on Kobashi is good too, and I like the finish where Ace makes up for Kobashi's foiled moonsault attempt with one of his own."
[8.0] "This was a really good tag team match. All four guys involved came out looking like legitimate players. Kobashi & Ace played the babyface role to perfection; They didn't try to bend the rules, but when they start getting chairs thrown at them, they'll respond in kind. Kobashi's facial expressions while selling, especially, were just fantastic. Deaton and Black, too, were awesome. This is the first time I've ever seen a Billy Black match, and I was just wowed by his athleticism. A double team step-up moonsault is something I expected to see in 2017 OTT, not 1991 AJPW. While the meat of the match was good, it really began ramping up near the end, where Johnny Ace gets destroyed by Deaton and Black, barely surviving several pinfall attempts. What's great too about that is how Kobashi's knee had been worked over the entire match, so when he tries to rush in to break it up, he basically stumbles through the ropes. Ultimately, Kobashi gets Black down for a moonsault, then Deaton pushes him off the top rope. But while Kobashi deals with Deaton, Ace goes up and hits his own moonsault on Black, leaving him prone for Kobashi to finish the job. This really is one of those matches you could show to anyone and they'll come away with a perfect understanding and appreciation of the story involved."
