[6.0] "Oh Man, I remember loving this one and watching it again and again at 16 because seeing John Cena lose was a joy to watch. Back then we loved Alberto and we hated John. What a time to be alive. Who would've guessed how years later we would remember both of them"
[6.0] "I remember enjoying this match when I first watched it and was very shocked by the title change. Also, I guess many people don't like this match cause this was the beginning of the end of John Cena's full-time career. The work was fine here, could've been better, but they only got 7 bastard minutes"
[5.0] "Not sure why I watched this but saw it on YouTube and went fuck it considering how short it was. Not too bad I guess, did its job. Del Rio got a massive pop, shame that this was Cena' final match as a full-timer, it was what it was."
[5.0] "Hard one to rate, Alberto Del Rio returning was a good moment, the crowd really popped for him, it's impressive how back in the day they cheered for any debut or return like the guy is the biggest star in the world, I miss those times, but the fact is the crowd loved his return AND win, considering how hated Cena was at that time, specially in wild crowds like LA, where Hell in a Cell was happening. Looking back, of course it was a bad moment, the Open Challenge had several legendary moments and it's underwhelming to watch the reign ending in 7-minutes, with Del Rio not even doing a proper finisher... if the match were between two random guys, with no title and no backstory, it would be a satisfying bout, the moves and the action was good, but considering the circumstances, it was a bad way to end Cena's legendary reign - {**1/4}"
[6.0] "Satisfactory for me. I enjoyed ADR returning & the fact that Cena wasn't US Champion anymore. (It should've stayed with Seth). The Match was average with a Surprisingly Quick Finish but it did the Job for me in terms of setting up the night. Zeb Colter returning with ADR was Awkward though I hope it doesn't stick around."
[4.0] "Not bad, but too short open challenge match for the championship belt. Zeb Colter's speech before the start of the fight was inspiring and the action in the ring itself was basic, Del Rio was a hot character after his return and they let him reinforce the image immediately with a title victory over the ace of the company for many years."
[3.0] "a very dumb booking decision. this match was short lived and a poor performance from both. Cena was on one of his greatest runs with the US Open Challenges. a younger star could've benefited a lot more from beating Cena. Sami Zayn. Cesaro. Neville. so many better options than Del Rio."
[5.0] "Cena was amazing as a defending US champion, but his reign ended on a rather strange note. In any case, the match was not so bad, although the finish was really not very good, and personally I was very glad to have Zeb and Alberto back, so my opinion may be a little biased. 5 points out of 10 as for me."
[2.0] "One of most bizzare booking decisions. John's US open challenge is uncermoniously ending by a returning Del Rio who's partners with Zeb Colter. The match ends in less than 10 minutes where Cena loses clean to a superkick (which wasn't ever Del Rio's finisher). Cena leaves and starts his part timer phase. Del Rio leaves less than a year later. This match was the end of Cena reign as a full-timer, think about it. Bizarre."
[3.0] "I never liked Alberto Del Rio as an athlete, but this match is really terrible. Very short duration, indecent final after a superkick, and a very poor and boring performance by both of them. Worst match of the night and probably worst open challenge by Cena during his reign."
