AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton

[6.0] "Decent TV match. These two always work well together every time they meet and this wasn't much different. The only downside here was obviously the finish, which saw Orton puking black slime from his mouth... Yup. [***]"

[6.0] "This was once again a solid match between Styles and Orton, again not their best one together but still a quality match-up from start to finish. In their previous confrontation I was disappointed not to have seen a face-off between Orton and Omos, well here we had a light one and it was really cool, it's one of the things I love to see in Styles' matches since a few months, when his opponents has a look game with Omos. I don't know why, but I think it's really cool. As for the match itself, it was obviously fun, it can't be bad with these two wrestlers and they always give us pretty good matches. This one was nothing great but enjoyable to watch bell-to-bell. What ruins it is the ending that reminds me how god damn awful this rivalry between Orton and The Fiend was. But I'll only retain the good action who was more than satisfactory for a TV main event."

[7.0] "In-ring performance absolutelly very good by this two with the obvious problem of the Alexa interference in the end. It remains a very good and solid main event."

[6.0] "Of course, when Styles and Orton have a proper 1 on 1 match without any other aims like the ending, it's much better. This was hard done by because it was to set up the ending but no fault of Styles/Orton"

[5.0] "We all sort of knew what the ending was gonna be, which made this match pretty average. I'm so sick of The Fiend/Orton, it is beyond stale."

[5.0] "It was a good match with some good moves and good counters, Styles carried it and I was invested but the ending ruined everything. I hate so much the feud between Orton and The Fiend. The interference of Bliss was absolutely horrible. **3/4"

[7.0] "Randy Orton and AJ Styles has a pretty cool chemistry, and that was on display here. It was nothing mindblowing, and it wasn't supposed to be, but it was a solid TV match and a suitable main event that left me more than satisfied. In fact, I think it was probably the best match on the show. I do have to say though, even as a fan of this Fiend storyline, these distractions have to either stop for awhile, or escalate. Currently, you expect every Orton segment to be cursed in some way, and I think that hurts getting people invested. Still, the ending wasn't terrible, but a little more uniqueness could've bumped this match up to an 8."

[5.0] "Of course WWE had to get their shot at AEW in somewhere (and to be fair, the AEW ending sucked so it was warranted), and yes they decided the Randy Orton/Alexa Bliss feud was where it should go. Orton vs. Styles was pretty good before this, but pettiness and the usual sucky nature of everything that comes with Bliss knocked two points off."
