[7.0] "Magnificently heated crowd here, that crowd heat alone fuels this match to good heights even though the in-ring action might leave something to be desired in its simplicity. The good pace keeps the match breathtaking and it feels competitive and tightly contested and the struggle towards the finish with the high spot finish itself lifts this up to great territory and company. ECW definitely took some pointers from FMW on how to create crowd-engaging chaotic brawls ***1/2"
[8.0] "Just absolute mayhem. A single-ring War Games match where everyone's piling on each other and doing something to someone else. But as one would hope, it still had sick spots and cool moments. I don't blame anyone for being a little put off by how messy it is, but I think it really revels in it."
[8.0] "This is a fucked up chaotic mess, ZEN had some great heat and it was weird seeing Onita in Bret Hart tights but I still thought he looked cool. ZEN was blocking Shinzaki the entire time handcuffing him to cage. Tanaka got to hit the Thunder Fire Powerbomb on Onita which was sick, Hayabusa did a moonsault from the top of the cage for the win which looked so cool."
[7.0] "Fun and very chaotic mess with great ending in which Hayabusa, who has already become a star, this time was able to defeat Onita after moonsault from the top of the cage."
[9.0] "This is fantastic. Great heat, no wasted time due to participants of each team coming out at the same time and being 3v3. Onita on a heel role is pretty refreshing, Tanaka is great as always (even though this time him and Kanemura didn't mesh as much) and Shinzaki is also a great addition to this mix. This builds great, has a good heat segment and then the babyfaces comeback starts with Shinzaki handcuffed hitting opponents with a back chop and a superkick, their timing is just incredible."
[5.0] "This was an interesting match. Very chaotic with tons of action, fast pacing with everyone coming in within under 5 minutes. The biggest moment of the match was Hayabusa pinning Onita with the moonsault, a call back to their 1995 match. Fun but not great. **3/4"
