[8.0] "Konosuke Takeshita in <5 months into his pro-wrestling career here and he already is in a singles match against Kota Ibushi. For Takeshita this was probably just another chance to prove himself and give it everything he's got, but every chance Ibushi had to get his offense in, he used them as a way to send a messagee, like he wanted to make this match a borderline traumatic experience for poor Takeshita. It made Ibushi's performance compelling in a different than usual way because he's rarely THIS agressive and borderline disrespectful to his opponents. If their paths will ever cross again (you never know what's gonna happen in pro-wrestling so you can always dream big), this match should be used as heat, it's too good not to imo."
[8.0] "This match was great you take a ddt legend in Ibushi and put him in the ring with the next big ddt star in Takeshita who has only been wrestling for a year at this point and it turned out great. High speed action with some great bumps and Ibushi neck bumping off German suplexes you know how it goes. The ending was really creative as well Ibushi hit some type of reverse powerbomb and locked in an insane looking single leg Boston crab he transitioned really smoothly. I hope we can see these 2 face each other again sometime in the future."
[10.0] "This is a super high octane match, very exciting from beginning to end. Ibushi hits a Pele kick on the floor and a vertical suplex into the ring apron that looks absolutely brutal. Takeshita later drops from the apron to the floor with a shotgun dropkick on that thinly padded ground. Takeshita, looking incredibly young, is poised and also executes some of the most gorgeous-looking german suplexes I've ever seen in my life. Both guys come out of it looking strong, but Ibushi finishes off the match with a tandem of offensive manuevers that I don't think I've seen him use any other time, at least not as a finish."
