If I had to pick one match to recommend Eddie Kingston to a person, it would be this match because it had everything which makes Eddie Kingston great. The brawling felt organic and the match was flowy. It was hate filled so they didn't care if they hit eachother recklessly with weapons which made this hardcore style match very authentic to me. Hero threw a chair from outside the ring which hit Eddie on his back. They showed it in slow mo after the match ended from different angles and it looked brutal. The strikes were stiff and they rammed eachother with HEADBUTTS. The trash talk was on point and so was the selling. Eddie busted his nose and was gushing blood and it just fit well in this whole setup. Unlike in WWE's last man standing matches, they didn't went overboard with the counting after each big move. Everything in this match came out very natural 9.00 |

Firstly, the shitty aesthetics of the gym really enhances the scumminess of this, which can be said for many of the more gritty IWA-MS matches. These two lay it into each other. The brawling looks snug and every spot involving a foreign object looked organic. This is about as far away as you can go from your bog-standard WWE weapons match! The constant trash-talking added to the hatred. Kingston looked downright scary here. Unlike most Last Man Standing matches, the counts never felt like they were killing the flow of the action. I think this might just be my favorite match from 2007. |

Kingston und Hero hätten das Match genauso gut durch Suplexes, Forearms und Chops so gut machen können, aber die Emotionen, die in dem Match steckten, und die Geschichte, die dahinter steckt, aber im Kampf noch genauso erzählt wird, machen es für mich 10 Punkte wert. Klasse Match und das richtige Ende, die die CZW-Fehde nicht bekommen sollte; die Underdog-Story von Eddie Kingston. |
